Personality Type
 What personality type are you? Tell us a little bit about that type (use complete
sentences).
My personality type is LOGISTICIAN PERSONALITY (ISTJ, -A/-T). My defining
characteristics of integrity, practical logic and tireless dedication to duty make my
personality type (Logisticians) a vital core to many families, as well as organizations that
uphold traditions, rules and standards, such as law offices, regulatory bodies and
military. People with the Logistician personality type enjoy taking responsibility for their
actions and take pride in the work they do – when working towards a goal, Logisticians
hold back none of their time and energy completing each relevant task with accuracy
and patience.

Logisticians don’t make many assumptions, preferring instead to analyze their

surroundings, check their facts and arrive at practical courses of action. Logistician
personalities are no-nonsense, and when they’ve decided, they will relay the facts
necessary to achieve their goal, expecting others to grasp the situation immediately and
act. Logisticians have little tolerance for indecisiveness but lose patience even more
quickly if their chosen course is challenged with impractical theories, especially if they
ignore key details – if challenges becomes time-consuming debates, Logisticians can
become noticeably angry as deadlines tick nearer.

 What percentage are you Extraverted vs. Introverted? Intuitive vs. Observant?
Thinking vs. Feeling? Judging vs. Prospecting? Assertive vs. Turbulent?

Individual Traits: Introverted- 75%

Observant- 69%
Thinking-81%
Judging-56%
Assertive-85%

Results
 Did the results surprise you? Why or why not? (use full sentences)
The results did not surprise me at all. I have taken one of these almost every two
years with the same results. I do believe it’s true. I think too much, very observant

and an introvert. I am not as assertive as I would like to be, but I am enough to get
what I want and get my point across well to others. The personality test scored me
mid-range on judging because I do believe in “to each their own”

 Summarize your key takeaways in a paragraph or two.

My key takeaways from the personality test is my personality is well suited for my
interests and business interests. I love law, love to read, don’t do much without enough
information (sometimes too much) and can be assertive with but not so much judging
character. It does help me to explain a lot of what I like, how I conduct business and my
interaction with others. This personality test can be the key to why I cannot commit to
one thing to do career wise and always looking for something else to do with or without
a team.

 What are some of your strengths and weaknesses as identified by the

assessment (use sentences)?
Some of my strengths: Honest and Direct – Integrity is the heart of the Logistician
personality type. I don’t mislead or beat around the bush with people which sometimes
can come across as unfeeling. Strong-willed and Dutiful – Logisticians embody that
integrity in their actions too, working hard and staying focused on their goals. I am
determined to do what I must do to fulfill my obligations no matter what. Very
Responsible – Logisticians’ word is a promise, and a promise means everything. Loyalty
is a strong sentiment for Logistician personalities, and they fulfill their duties to the
people and organizations they’ve committed themselves to. Calm and Practical – None
Rational decision maker never break a sweat. Logisticians work to make the best use of
individual qualities, but these decisions are made with effectiveness in mind more so
than empathy. The same applies to criticisms, for others and themselves. I believe if a
leader “freaks out” so will the employees so I always remain calm and come up with
solutions fast to maintain order and dignity. Create and Enforce Order – My primary
goal is to be effective in whatever I am doing. When there are clear guidelines and rules
everyone understands what’s expected so they will act in such a way as to make sure
the goals are met. Structure and rules foster dependability; chaos creates unforeseen
setbacks and missed deadlines. Jacks-of-all-trades – Much like Analyst personality
types, Logisticians are proud repositories of knowledge, though the emphasis is more on
facts and statistics than concepts and underlying principles. I know a little about a lot of
things. Definite information storage is in my brain. We personality types like to cover
everything, so we will always know what to do or what’s going on.

Some of my weaknesses are stubborn, insensitive, judgmental and always by the book. I
can be a bit stubborn sometimes when trying to negotiate with someone. The

PAGE 2
insensitive is true. Its sometimes taken as not caring but its just I am focused on the long
goal not being too personal also. I do try to do everything correctly and properly to
alleviate any pitfalls that may come up now or later. My judgmental weakness is not
that true. I try not to judge others but its hard not to when you are assessing someone
as a future employee for your organization.

 How do these strengths and weaknesses impact your workplace habits? Career
paths? (use paragraph form)
My strengths add value to my workplace habits, but weakness may
undercut any of that value if they are not reigned in by me when I notice them.
Like for instance the stubborn and judgmental weakness needs to be tweaked it
can be a bad thing for any organization. My honest, direct, responsible, dutiful
and strong will are true asset to me personally and professionally. When I first
started working there were many ways in which I did not know would be good
for me but now I see through this personality test it was. I have been told I am
brutally honest, strong willed and very responsible. I don’t know about the
responsible part too much, but I guess as I get older I have become more
responsible. My career paths have been military, real estate, legal,
administrative, and management. These strength and weaknesses served me
well in some ways by not allowing me to be a push over, willing to learn, take
constructive criticism and be a value to any employer or organization. The
Logistician personality type seeks structure, clearly defined rules, and respect for
authority and hierarchy. Responsibilities aren’t burdens to Logisticians, they are
the trust that has been placed in them, an opportunity to prove once again that
they are the right person for the job.

Analysis
 What did you learn from what you uncovered?
I learned why I like the things I like such as interest and why I chose
certain jobs. Taking this test also showed me how to be a better employee and
employer by realizing that I have good strengths to add value to an organization.
Learning about yourself and transferring that to the workplace or a job is eye
opening. The key is to harness these results to benefit me in the long term for
my business and an organization. That is what I will be working on from now on,
just knowing is not good enough. I can use these results to benefit my goals.
 What new skills will you try to acquire to overcome your weaknesses?
I will try not to be such a bull-headed negotiator and judge others. I am
willing to budge a little on rules and be a little more open-minded to others.
Being more patient and sensate to others is another one. I will listen with a more

interest instead of just wanting it to be over. Follow-up more with others about
themselves when they tell me things that is bothering them.

Leadership & Implementation

 How will this impact the way that you lead others? (use full sentences)
This personality test will impact the way I lead by letting me use all this
information to improve and allow myself to look inward and be a better leader or
employee. A true leader must assess themselves from time to time to see how they
are being effective with others. Leading others is a big task which requires humility,
understanding and true sense of self with some direction. These assessments can
offer that to any one, leaders included so they can be effective to their employees
and organization.

 Will you make self-assessments a mandatory part of your employee training?

Why or why not? Explain your rationale (summarize in a paragraph)
Yes, I will make self-assessments a mandatory part because I think it is crucial for
employees to know themselves and why they act a certain way. Self-assessments
should be done yearly to see if the weaknesses have been worked and if the
strengths are being tapped into by the employee. If an employee wants to move up
in an organization, they must assess themselves from time to time to keep track of
how they are doing. Well intentioned employees will welcome self-assessments and
want to improve professionally and personally. I feel these self-assessments can help
them do that.
