Rationale
As part of the Marketing Management program of the Polytechnic University of the
Philippines, students are trained to become professional individuals and are exposed to actual
corporate world. Their abilities and skills were molded and developed to meet career standards in
the future. The students are being prepared to perform best in their chosen field through different
activities that measure their strategic minds to cope with business dynamics.
Hence, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing
Management 4-1 students will be holding its annual Seminar Workshop for the school year
2019-2020. The Seminar Workshop in Marketing Trend and Issues will promote teamwork and
camaraderie for the organizers which are essential in the business environment. This event will
also strengthen their management skills in handling number of participants, providing them
extraordinary experience and relevant take aways that would be significant in the future. As for
the participants, this event will be a big contribution for the development of their skills and
strategies as aspiring business professionals. The event aims to also prepare them for the
changing characteristic of the marketing environment. They will be taught different strategies on
how to cope and overcome such changes and still succeed in their chosen field.

 To teach both new and seasoned marketers who need to stay updated on emerging trends.
 To teach attendees on how to acquire new skills and the best way to optimize their
