1. What kind of business models that the company has already done?
The business models of Lazada is B2C (Business - To - Consumer). Lazada is a website
following the B2C business model sells its products directly to customer. A customer can view
the products shown on the website. The customer can choose a product and order the same. The
website will then send a notification to the business organization via email and the organization
will dispatch the product/goods to the customer. Lazada focuses more on the B2C business
model because the company's main goal is to absorb individual customers who make
transactions on their sites. In Business to Customer (B2C) will be more focused on how the
basic mechanism for buyers to access the company on a website that has been provided by the
company. After that how to service the site and the most complicated is how to create the main
challenges for sales. E-commerce provides a true shopping experience by being able to buy
from home and can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
That means the Lazada business model is actually the same as the shops located on the roadside
or in a shopping center. Lazada sells its products directly to consumers. It's just that the means
used to get goods or products on Lazada is different. In this case consumers are required to
access the internet to shop at Lazada. Just like most stores, Lazada takes goods from suppliers
in large quantities and then stores them in the center of their warehouse located in the new
cilincing basin then distributes them to consumers if there is a purchase.

2. How important the e-business models for the company?


e-business model B2C for Lazada is very important because the B2C model allows Lazada to
provide a better customer experience and offer customer protection policies that will ultimately
benefit the shoppers. Lazada also able to work with local brands, sellers and merchants through
marketplace platform. This not only allow to achieve exponential growth in assortment
quantity, but also in quality. Lazada only work with registered sellers, established local retailers
and international brands, ensuring authenticity and quality of products. With a B2C business
model, Lazada are able to provide the customers with a broader range of secure payment options
including cash-on-delivery. On top of that, Lazada mobile shopping experience is one of the
strongest in the market, with mobile web interface and app.
3. Is the company got profit from the e-business models? If yes, how do online businesses make
money?
Yes, Lazada make money through sell physical product, in an e-commerce business like
Lazada, here sell physical products through an online platform. E-commerce businesses are
popular for those interested in how to start an online business from home. However, these
businesses are difficult to get started because of the necessary logistics. We have to create, sell,
and ship physical products.
Depending on the products we sell, we may also have to:
1. Manage sourcing materials
2. Play a role in manufacturing
3. Manage the shipping and handling of our product
However, if we are able to manage the supply chains and get the business off the ground, e-
commerce is a great business model. We are able to offer a variety of different products to a
large audience. If we manage margins and scale up the processes, there is no theoretical revenue
limit for an e-commerce business. We are not limited by time in the same way as the ‘delivering
services’ model.
Another major benefit of e-commerce like lazada is the ability to create repeat customers.
If customers are satisfied and we offer other products they may be interested in, we can grow
our business through: email marketing, marketing automation, facebook ads, retargeting and
special offers.
Other than that, Lazada will also get additional revenue streams that come from ads that are on
Lazada's website pages. There are various forms of this ad in the form of Google Adsense and
also advertising the results of collaboration with related partners.
