Theft in public places.
Mainly this article is oriented to the theft and the solution to this problem, they only refer
briefly to the initial decision to focus on a particular problem, the methods to analyze the
problem and the means to evaluate the results of a police work project aimed at the solution
of problems. The guides are designed to help the police decide on the best way to analyze
and address a problem you have already identified.
This article tells us that here in Colombia the police take the transport terminals and public
service buses of the municipalities of Chia and Soacha, to combat the theft and to catch the
people who are dedicated to rob the users in the modes of tickling or armed robbery.

And for this reason the authorities increase the operations in places of greater affectation
for this crime that consist of the police escort, background check, registration to persons
and continuous patrols in different neighborhoods of said municipalities. In addition, they
seek that people prevent situations of theft, through self-protection and denunciation
campaigns.

Since this year the complaints of robberies increased 20%. Concerned that criminals are
increasingly violent. The black market of bicipartes has triggered robberies to cyclists.

Beyond the alarms and that theft figures are increasing in the capital, what the latest facts
show is that the thieves are becoming more violent and no longer content only to keep the
objects of their victims; now they are also taking their lives.
Although in the neighborhood 22 robberies have been denounced so far this year, residents
of the sector agree that the area facilitates the action of crime because it is dark, the police
presence is null and the nearest CAI is in the neighborhood La Gaitana, 15 minutes by car.

Also, the local mayors are preparing to weave security fronts with the Police. However,
experts indicate that the root of the increase in bicycle thefts is an increasingly powerful
black market that has not been effectively attacked.
