But No Thanks Letter

If more than one college accepted you, be sure to let the ones you won't attend know that you
are declining their offer. That way, they can give your place to another candidate. It's also a
courtesy that will hold you in good stead if you should ever decide to transfer to that school in
the future.

Here's a quick and easy "thanks, but no thanks" sample letter:

I am writing to let you know that I must decline your offer of acceptance. I have
