Scope

Conduent Business Services, LLC and its subsidiaries provide this policy as a guide for employees. This policy applies
to all employees of Conduent Business Services, LLC and its subsidiaries who are based in the Region/Country
identified above and any reference hereafter to Conduent is a reference to Conduent Business Services, LLC and its
subsidiaries.

Summary

This policy provides guidance in the event an employee experiences a death in their immediate family.

Definitions

Immediate Family - Conduent defines immediate family members as children, brother (in-law), sister (in-law), parent
(in-law), grandparents (in-law), grandchildren, step or half relationship, legal guardians, any relative residing with the
employee, as well as a spouse or domestic partner, and any of the above mentioned relatives of a spouse or domestic
partner. Floating holidays or accrued vacation may be used for the death of anyone not covered.

Policy

I. General

Conduent wishes to support employees during their time of grief when a member of their family has died.
Employees who experience a death in the family are allowed personal time off under the provisions of this policy.

II. Time Off With Pay

Employees are granted up to three days off with pay when a member of their immediate family dies. Additional
time off may be allowed at the manager’s discretion and, if granted, may be taken as vacation, PTO, personal
holidays, or personal leave. Bereavement leave will be paid based on the employee’s scheduled work hours.

Exceptions

Within the boundaries of each policy there may be ‘allowable’ exceptions, and where this is the case the policy owner
(e.g. Global Leader, Compensation for the Compensation Policy) will oversee and grant the exception subject to
approval of the Chief Human Resource Officer.

Without the necessary approvals, no exceptions may be made to the existing HR policy nor granted to specific
individuals. Any other exception would be classified as unauthorized and would be considered a policy violation.
Where a policy exception is made without the appropriate approvals disciplinary action, up to and including termination
may be taken against the employee(s) who authorized the exception.
