GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS


1. Font Type : Times New Roman
2. Font Size: Font size of 12 to be maintained for project report text except mentioned
specifically.
3. Font size 14 to be maintained for “Headings” of the project report.
4. The text should be justified with 1.5 line spacing.
5. There should be a page break before each chapter.
6. References should not include websites especially search engines.
7. No page border or shading etc should be used.
8. Table of contents must follow tabular form.
9. The page number should be incorporated in the right corner of the footer.
10. There will be no page number for inside front page, declaration, certificate of faculty
guide, certificate of company, acknowledgement, executive summary, table of contents
and page break.
11. The report is to be submitted in three copies with hard bound black cover and golden
embossing as submitted for 4th trimester.
12. The following sequence to be maintained for arranging the report.

 Certificate of faculty guide
 Certificate of company ( wherever applicable)

HOW TO WRITE REFERENCES

(APA Style)

Journals:
 Surname and name of author1, surname and name of
author 2 (year), “topic of project”, name of journal,
volume no., page no.
Books:
 Surname and name of author1, surname and name of
author 2 (year), “name of book”, publishing house,
edition, page no.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

1. Students are required to meet their respective faculty


guides periodically.
2. Student should give their name, contact number and
e-mail ID of the reporting manager to the faculty.
3. Students to select project title on the basis of
company’s training and their specialization.
4. Weekly report in the given format has to be
forwarded to the faculty mentor.
5. Students are supposed to be in regular contact with
their faculty mentor.
6. Students are to send their Summer Internship Report
only through e-mail.
7. Students interning in the same organization should
avoid similar topic for the report.
8. Students are required to prepare three copies of the
report.
 Note : In case, student is not in regular contact with

the faculty mentor then he/she will not be responsible


regarding the outcome and the submission of report
after due date.
