-MAX ALT OF FLAPS OPERATION IS 20.000FT AND THEY POWERED BY HYD SYS B.

-LEADING EDGE 2 INBRD KRUEGER FLPAS & 4 SLATS OUTBOARD EACH ENGINE.

-KRUEGER FLAPS HAVE ONE EXTENDED POSITION WHILE SLATS HAVE EXTENDED(SEALED LDG EDGE & FULLY
EXTENDED(SLOTTED LDG EDGE) DEPENDING ON TRAILING FLAPS POSITION.

30-40 FULL EXT

-QRH RELATED XLISTS:ALL FLAPS UP LDG/AUTOSLAT FAIL/LEADING EDGE FLAPS TRANSIT/T.E FLAPS
ASSYMETRY/T.E FLAPS DISAGREE/ T.E FLAPS UP LDG.

-T.E EDGE FLAPS INCREASE WING AREA AND CHAMBER & AS A RESAULT LIFT FOR T/O & LDG PERF. THEY ARE DOUBLE SLOTED INBOARD &
OUTBOARD EACH ENGINE AND FROM 1-15 WILL INCREASE LIFT & 15 TO 40 LIFT AND ALSO DRAG.DURING NORMAL OPERATION THEY ARE MECH
CONTROLLED AND HYD OPERATED AND DURING ALTERNATE OP. ARE ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED AND OPERATED.

-T.E FLAPS SYS OPERATION:FLAP LEVER IS CONNECTED THROUGH CABLES TO SUMMING


LEVER IN THE FLAP CONTROL UNIT. FCU DIRECTS HYD PSI TO POWER THE FLAP DRIVE UNIT.

-FLAP LEVER GATES 15 & 1 FOR FOR NORMAL AND SIGLE ENG G/A.(AVOID INADV. SELECT.)
