cases as per previous shut-down (May 2014) to Zero incident as per Shut- Down (June, 2017).
• Drew and updated the missing and outdated drawings for Phase-III to be used in Plant Re-HAZOP study.
Operation Engineer
El-Wastani Petroleum Company (WASCO Damietta, Egypt Jul. 2011 – Jun. 2017
Fields of Experience: as an Operation Engineer
• Monitor and control the process equipment's performance with all respects including production units' performance,
product specification and chemical usage to achieve optimum, best economic and cost-effective results.
• Ensure up to date operating envelopes and alarms & trip registers are available.
• Carry out and monitor DCS trending of key process parameters of process units, perform preliminary investigations and
recommend short term and long-term actions,
• Participate in Incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Recommend corrective actions to deal with abnormalities, de-bottlenecking, upgrading and optimum operating conditions.
• Prepare process performance tests; discuss test procedures with plant operators, collect performance data, and prepare
performance tests reports,
• Write daily reports including production figures, done activities, trips & Maintenance defects.
• Provide a safe plan for Shutdown and start-up operations.
• Participate in the Health and Safety meetings.
• Participate in HAZOP studies.
• Follow-up construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning operations.
Fields of Experience: as Shut-Down Coordinator - PH-III increasing Capacity Project Shutdown, 2014
• Prepare, update and publish shutdown project charts detailing planned/proposed shutdown work across the site.
• Establish manpower planning, to achieve maintenance/shutdown schedule compliance.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to create an integrated shutdown schedule.
• Prepare start-up and Shutdown procedures.
• Provide isolation plan/philosophy to ensure that all activities are implemented safely.
• Provide nitrogen purge plan to ensure that cutting/welding operations are safely implemented.

• Commissioning/Start-up team leader for El-Bassant Nodal Compression station (Oct. 2014).
• Construction, Commissioning, start-up and Performance test of El-Wastani gas plant for implementation of CPF
increasing capacity project required modifications (March 2014).
• Commissioning/Start-up for El-Wastani-II Nodal-II Compression station (Aug. 2011).
Achievements:
Training Instructor team of El-Bassant Nodal compression plant, minimizing scheduled time to put the plant
• Led commissioning/start-up
on production before the targeted date and without recording any incident.
• Provide outstanding techniques to overcome some repeated operational problems like; hydrate formation problems
inside LTS facilities, Vessel blockage with sludge & low differential pressure of lube oil pumps, which are considered
and followed later in operational philosophy.
