3rd Speaker opposition Team

The topic of our debate is “That Plastic Bags Should Be Banned”.

We the opposition team, believe that this statement is false.
Rebuttal
First, I will rebut the statement from the affirmative team.
1. The 1st speaker of the affirmative team has tried to tell us in her 1 st point that plastics bags
are not easy to recycle This is true, but as what our 1 st speaker said, its difficult to stop
using plastic bag because if we use paper or shopping bag it was expensive and not
durable.

Then, 2nd speaker of the affirmative team has tried to tell us in her 2 nd point that plastic
bags pollute our environment. . We do not agree about it, because plastic bag also can
convert into fuel, and can we can make some handcraft from plastic bag. This tell us if
we throw the plastic bag anywhere it will polluted but if we reuse plastic into something
good it will more environment friendly.
Summary
The conclusion of our debate to ban plastic bags is as follows:
1. Our 1st speaker already explained about Reduce the use of plastic bags. We can stop use
plastic bag event there the regulation from government. Its more better to reduce the use
of plastic and bring shopping bag or tumbler bottle and other or use 1 plastic bag when
we shopping because plastic bag has long durability.

2. Then, our 2nd speaker already explained about alternative bag are not any better. Because
the alternative bag are manufactured using synthetic products and would last years. This
means that the environment will still be littered before the papers disintegrate. The fact
that they are less harmful does not make them safe. This is one of the reasons why plastic
bags should not be banned.

In conclusion, plastic bags is should be banned. There are a lot of reason to realize it
many things must be considered. From here we know plastic can be environment friendly
if we use it well. Plastic can convert into a fuel it can be alternative energy, and also we
can made handcraft from it. Change plastic bag to other is difficult like now we use paper
bag its only move the problem from plastic to the environment specially tree. If we want
band plastic bag we should prepare the best solution.
So, from what we already explained, we the opposition team strongly believe that plastic bags
shouldn’t be banned.
