The Temple Of 7 Pillars

A Short Paper By Bob B. Frater Veneficus Draconigena

One of the legends told by bards* and skalds** of the Mysterium is the tale of the Temple of the
Seven Pillars. It is a place shrouded in fables and superstition, for some time, yet is at heart, a
morality tale, showing that even the most well learned and powerful among us can not only
make mistakes, not only be so set in our way that we blind ourselves from seeing the truth, but
that we must overcome our pride and confidence that the beliefs and knowledge we already
hold must be correct and true before we can ever achieve true enlightenment. It is not a fable
which is much liked by the more orthodox and hidebound of pentacle members for exactly this
reason, yet a surprisingly large amount of mystagogues and guardians hold it very dear,
teaching it to all their students. The tale itself goes like this:

The Truth is in Language

Only in the Past Few Years Have We Grown Enough to Understand

An Account of My Journeys - Tails of Ancient Times

The Awakening
Before the Fall.. All mages could draw down Büyülü (Magic)*** as they wished, with no need for
watchtowers or paths. After the formation of the Abyss, however, fewer and fewer human souls
managed to Awaken, as the roads to the Supernal were shutting down, and the human spirit
slowly forgot its divine heritage. Many Atlantean, Muian and Lemurian survivors and
descendendants despaired, believing that the end of all magic(k) was at hand, that humans
would forget how to Awaken completely. Then something changed, for all at once people began
to find their way back to the Supernal once more, yet the method they used was strange and
new to the existing mages. To better understand what was going on a select group of sages
clinging to the ways of Atlantis gathered together to study this new way of reaching the
Supernal. They sought out as many newly Awakened as they could, and interviewed them
about their experiences. They tried to find common themes and guidelines, to map the new
process as thoroughly as possible. What they found amazed them. It was obvious that
something drew the humans across to the Supernal. It opened the way for them, letting them
walk a set of new paths, guided by a distant light and shining star in the worlds above. It also
became apparent that there were a set of types of Awakenings now, different sorts and themes
occurring again and again within their research.

Certain Symbols, Glyphs, Sigils, Seals.. Tendencies and Resonances seemed to be coded into
the very concept of Awakening, and among these they found the Towers, the Pillars of the
Heavens. But they were cloaked in metaphor, in figments and archetypes and imagination, and
so the scholars made a rather grave mistake. Noticing that several of these towers were keyed
to the ancient magical metals they assumed that there must be one tower per celestial metal, As
they had learned, that there were in fact seven new paths to enlightenment. And so they built a
shrine with a dome roof, seven walls and seven doors to honour, research and understand the
new structure of the cosmos. In their holiest of holies they constructed seven pillars, made out
of one perfected metal each, upon which they scribed their lore and their wisdom and their
findings. This then was the temple of the Seven Pillars, Later known as Temple of Seven
Planets with The Temple grounds so vast. there are writings that have survived a testament to
the fact that we too often think we know the truth.

Chronicles of the Grimoires

It is written in many forms and writings.. ( liber logaeth.. Writings of light) (The Picatrix.. Writings
of the Sages) (The Oera Linda.. Writings and and Chronicles of the Ancients ) (Black book of
Urdu and Al-Azif.. Darkest of Writings.. of old gods and their Procedures)

The temple is mentioned in various Books, Grimoires, Manuscripts, Tablets and Scrolls.. With
three aspects.. Light, Wisdom and Shadow

New Belief of the Old Ones

The human soul is not only the sole conduit for Supernal power in the fallen world, but it is also
the most researched yet most unknown phenomenon to exist. While nefarious forces and dark
beings and men born into darkness or turned, will always seek to consume and exploit that
which is most hallow'd. But they will never know the true value of what they hold, for divine are
secrets hidden within the breast of all men, home seat of ineffable core lies outside time as we
know it, going both backwards and forwards through time not by travel or journeying across the
continuum, but by transcending it all together. The soul lies not within time at all, but merely
projects various aspects of itself into different parts of the stream. It is like a story written in a
book. For the people within the story time passes, but from our perspective the book itself is
timeless and eternal, yet contains and upholds their existence and reason for being, while the
book itself contains all of time yet is not moving within time as the story would understand it.

Tablets and other writings

The surrounding hillsides are covered in writing very old.. Some using the Qubit System.. Some
Using the Megalithic Yard System of Measurement. Most Being 5 Qubits square approximately
15 feet \ 4.5 Meters. It is not known if truly was a reason for each location. It has been
suggested that they lay out like is the fixed stars..
There is one tablet outside the northwest door. In a niche in the wall Made of Basalt. This tablet
speaks of things that are both old and of notable wisdom..

The tablet in the pit approximately 9 feet \ 2.7 meters down facing the north doorway speaks of
kindness, empathy, connection. and a warning not to go further.. unless your walk is truth of
spirit..

The Temple
Deep in the barren hills of Anatolia at the Tektek plateau is a remote village, seven temples
adorn seven hilltops with rock carvings and writings dedicated to the sun, moon, planets and
other Celestial bodies.
All around, scattered in the desert landscape, lie the seven planetary temples, each one
dedicated to a planetary deity and precisely orientated towards the central mound, which also
serves as observation point.

A small village was built on the site of one of the planetary temples, probably the one dedicated
to the Moon-god Sin. Within the precinct of a modest stone hut, one still finds ancient carvings
and a cave which was clearly an important place of worship in ancient times. The walls of the
cave have been cut square to create a large room with several niches and carved bas-reliefs
depicting the heavenly Triad composed of Sin, Baal Shamen (Baal of the Heavens) and Bar
Nemre (The Son of the Shining one). The bas-reliefs, as well as the proto-writings**** on the
walls have been much defaced by the ravages of time and local superstition, but one can still
recognize their contours.

Some 200 feet \ 60 meters away is the base of another square construction, partly hewn into the
rock, of which only the entranceway survives leading to an underground chamber which is
however entirely filled with rubble. There is no indication as to which deity this temple was
dedicated.

About 3/10 mile About half a Kilometer to the South-East stands a large circular platform built of
hewn stones, all very finely fitted together, marking the spot of Saturn in the heavenly diagram
of Sogmatar. On top of each platform stood gigantic representations of the planetary solids
associated to each of the seven Planets (Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn).
Today little remains of these solids, The most notable feature of this platform is a descending
passage which is free of debris, leading to a small rock-cut chamber deep beneath the circular
platform on top. chamber was turned into a tomb and sarcophagi were cut in the walls. In one of
the corners we noticed a small pit entirely filled with rubble, where one could only see the
entrance to some underground corridor or crypt. All of the seven temples once possessed a
similar pit, leading to a kind of vast subterranean located right under the central mound similar
to the spokes of a wheel. One could go from one temple to another entirely underground, and
using this ancient system of tunnels and underground passageways one could even reach as
far away as the great Temple of Harran (some 30 miles / 40 Kilometers away) and the rock of
Urfa (Edessa), some 44 Miles / 70 Kilometers to the North-West. The ruined state of the tunnels
and underground chambers did not allow any further investigation. It would no doubt take many
years to clear the tunnels of all the dirt and debris which have accumulated in the course of the
many millennia.
Still one finds near Bazda the remains of vast laborious caves and tunnels carved deep into the
limestone formations to quarry stone for nearby Harran and Edessa, which suggest something
similar may exist underneath ancient Sogmatar.

Another half mile to the South-East one finds the remains of yet another temple platform, and
then a of a third and fourth one spaced about a mile from each other. There is one square
platform and two circular platforms, all very ruined except the last and most distant one. All of
the platforms have a descending passageway leading to some underground crypt, which have
however in all cases but one collapsed. Still, it is notable that all corridors were very accurately
oriented towards the central mound as we could measure ourselves.

All around each of the platforms one finds a number of highly enigmatic structures, which take
the shape of basins, thrones and altars all cut in the living rock. There are also pools and
channels which were likely used in some form of sacrifice. We also found several rock-cut
inscriptions in what looked like ancient Syriac characters.**** Some of these were no deeper
than scratches on the hard rock surfaces, while some others were deeply cut to a depth of
several inches in the bedrock, covering multiples lines.
Only a handful of these ancient inscriptions, which look of theurgical or ceremonial characters,
The latter points to a significant star alignment which occurred on that date which is also
reflected in the disposition of the planetary temples on the ground.*****

The Temple Center

At the extreme boundaries of the Earth stands an ancient temple, which is round on the outside
inside a heptagon, has seven doors on each side and a lofty dome which has also seven sides
and is famous throughout the land for its extraordinary height and admirable stone construction.
On top of the dome is a kind precious stone or crystal as large as a bull’s head with other
Wards, dispelling people touched by darkness for a great distance…Many great kings of old
have tried to get hold of this stone, but with no success: all those who tried, fell lifeless at a
distance of 5 paces…even if one uses spears, arrows or other similar contrivances, fail to reach
the stone .To this date, there is no means for a man could get hold of this stone. Those so
daring or foolish to think they could demolish the temple would be struck by instant death.
Certain sages explained this phenomenon as caused by certain magnetic stones placed at a
regular distance all around the temple…
Within the temple in the center is a very deep pit, how deep nobody knows. It has seven sides
and is constructed in such a manner that whoever attempts to get too close in order to look
down will fall into the deep and thus find his death. Around the pit is a ring of brass carrying the
signs of an ancient writing:
“This pit leads to a place recorded time and knowledge of the Magics and wisdom of the world is
kept since the new age of man began. Here is preserved the history of the World, the science of
Heavens and of the Lower Plains, the hidden secret of all things past, present and future. Here
lie all the treasures of the World, but whoever wishes to be worthy of it must be our equal in
power, wisdom, science and Magics. Whoever is able to do so, then he will know himself as one
of our kind. But beware shall you not be worthy, if your Impurity of your intentions are more
profound than our wisdom, broader our science and impenetrable as our vigilance”
You will leave with nothing but madness”..

This temple, just as its dome, rests on a rock of stupendous size, similar to a great mountain, so
hard that little if no excavation can be made on its sides… Nobody except the caretakers are
known to know it’s secrets.. Who have seen this ancient temple and know all of its Wonders.. It
is said that people seeking understanding can go there.. Just have truth of spirit can go without
being struck by a great melancholy or unexplained attraction for it.. or even like they come
home.. One of the finest temples in the ancient world… Sogmatar Turkey.

* In ancient times the Bards were the keepers of tradition, of the memory of the tribe - they were
the custodians of the sacredness of the Word. Although they probably represented the first level
of training for an apprentice Druid, we should not make the mistake of thinking that a Bard was
somehow in a lowly or inferior position. There were many levels of accomplishment.. there are
four levels of achievement.. Ollaire, Cli, Ollamh and Anruth, but the most skilled of Bards were
held in high esteem and partook of many of the functions of both the Ovate and the Druid. they
were not only the storytellers and learned poets they knew many languages and customs.
Casting spells with music and song was a necessary function as needed.

**Skalds were poets, musicians, advisers, teachers and most importantly they were the oral
historians who preserved the knowledge of their race. Kings worried what Skalds would say of
them, and very often, they were the ones who judged a man's character as being a hero or
villain. By their recitations of their stories, they passed the entire record of their people from one
generation to the next until such time that this knowledge was recorded in writing. Because of
them, we know of heroes, villains, family genealogies, wars, religion, social structure and origin.
This section is dedicated to all those skalds without whose work we would know nothing, and
who sadly enough are still mostly unknown themselves, because they considered the story
more important than the storyteller.
The formal subjects of the skalds were shield poems (descriptions of the mythological
engravings on shields), praise of kings, epitaphs, and genealogies. There were also less-formal
occasional poems, dream songs, magic curses, lampoons, flytings. although forbidden by law,
many love songs. Because they so often praised current feats of the kings, the poems have
high historical value.

*** There are many different cultures as there are different languages with the same meaning
for Magic (A short list.. Found over 700 references) Throughout the Ages and from all over the
globe. Here is just a few.
Sahara, Magie Hud, Migija, Magia, Magii, Galdur, Shabdkosh, Ma thuật, towerkuns
Keh, Iast, Kia, Mageia, Keka, Maya, Kalaallit, Tupilak, Sihirli, Sixir, Majika, Magicae

**** There have been different languages found in the area.. It is Said that some have been left
to honor the location. Some are still unknown. There are several proto-languages most from the
Proto-Indo-Iranic and Old Indo-Aryan Languages are found around the area. To name just a
few.. The Indo-European family alone is one of the largest families.. more than 400 languages
spoken in at least 60 countries and its origins are unclear. But there are some that seem to have
an ancient origin. To name a few examples.. Gobekli Tepe (Southeastern Anatolia Region of
Turkey) Karahan Tepe (Tektek Dagliari Region) 23 miles \ 37 Kilometres Southeast of Gobekli
Tepe) And many others around the Harran Plains. There seems to be enough evidence to state
that most if not all the Temples that are turning out to be 11,000 to 18,000+ years old are
showing to be proto-Cuneiform but the appearance of Proto-Sanskrit.. Pushed proto-writing
back much further.. Suggesting that seed languages are \ have been past down… From the
Caretakers of an old tempal.. Suggesting that the Old Ones would keep the legacy alive..
Perhaps at this point the language is mostly lost or evolving at this point. We do know many
Languages are born from this Ancient Construct. It has been sermized perhaps near 800
languages in 3 language groups.

*****The answers are in the writings in and on the northwestern hills. Understanding comes from
not just knowing the language. There are stratagems hidden in the kameas****** in and on the
southeastern hills. If solved, The cipher will create a way to unlock propound amounts of
knowledge... As for the pit.. Perhaps a way to filter out the various kinds unworthy People,
Organizations, Kingdoms. Clearly why the sages and notable affiliates have the upperhand.
Truly being learned was the dream and hopes of the Old Ones…

****** A komea or magic square first thought to go back to 950 BC. Turns out they go back a
further. A komea uses what they call.. A magic constant or magic sum witch can be Alphabetical
(Words can be read forward, Backwards, Left and Right) or Numerological (Equal sum of
numbers in every row and in every direction).
