A) Read the story: “Gulliver in the land of Lilliput”

This is the story of Lemuel Gulliver. One day he was travelling by ship but in the middle of the sea, the ship
had an accident. Gulliver was an excellent swimmer and swam for many kilometers before he got to the
coast. Gulliver was very tired and decided to sleep.
When he woke up, his hair, hands, legs and body were tied to the ground. He saw little men running all
around him. One of the little men got close to his ear and said, "You are in the land of Lilliput; we are
Lilliputians. You are our prisioner now." Tied to the ground
Gulliver looked at them and smiled.
Gulliver promised to help the little people with their
problems and they became friends. The Lilliputians built a
house for Gulliver and gave him food and new clothes.
Gulliver enjoyed living in Lilliput and liked swimming in the
blue sea with his new friends, but he started missing his
family and friends. The Lilliputians saw Gulliver was very
sad; so they gave him a very big ship to return home to
see his family and friends.
Gulliver is with his family now, but he always thinks of those little friends that live in the land of Lilliput.
