On your opinion, what are the most important 10
leadership qualities? Write them down. Explain
why you choose those qualities as the most
important.

1. Connection with people: Leadership is based on


understanding and knowing others, as Matt Beeton
said; knowing what makes you happy, what makes
you sad, what makes you motivated. In this way, he
or she understood what is happening and on this the
leader interacts.
2. Vision: A good leader need to take actions to
change the world, a leader need a destination, a
vision make it compelling, make it out there make it
exciting, make it challenging. Choose a destination to
take the company into what it wants to become.
3. Passion: At the time to undertake and to take the
company to a higher level, the desire and
enthusiasm is essential to achieve it. That is why a
leader needs to generate passion in others, so that
each person fights for their ideas and they are more
productive.
4. Strategic mental rehearsal: Matt Beeton
mentioned this on the video, and in my opinion it’s
really important, because like he said leaders have to
imagine reaching the goal in the mind. In this way,
they’ve imagined the steps on the way that they
tasted it and they felt its research.
5. Integrity: A leader must know how to guide and
react to any situation. For this reason, it’s necessary
to have moral principles, values and appropriate
behaviors to establish them as a code in the other
members of the organization. This in order to set a
good example and create a stable and honest
environment in the company.
6. Good communicator: Communication is one of
the main qualities that a leader must have, because
it’s the medium by which the leader orients,
motivate, listen and make known functions and
challenges to the others. So a good communication is
essential to make the members of the company
understand what they want to achieve, and at the
same time it serves for motivation, passion, training,
decision making, company development and more.
7. Creativity: A creative leader is able to face any
type of problem, showing and motivating others that
problems can be solved in different ways. This shows
courage and commitment to the development of the
company and the direction in which it should to go.
8. Empathy: This make a closer connection with
their followers and this is recommendable around put
in the shoes of others. Understand what they feel,
what motivates them and what they want to do.
9. Empowerment: This is important, because it
gives authority to the other members of the
company and its necessary so that that they have
someone to follow, who to guide themselves, who to
learn from, who to develop their skills and many
more.
10. Perseverance: It’s necessary for a leader to
persevere in any circumstance. In other words, a
leader need to have firmness and constancy in the
way of being or acting. In this way, a continuous
effort will be seen in what the leader wants to
achieve, what is proposed and the solution that he or
she seeks to establish. This will provide confidence in
the other members of the company.
