There was an awarding ceremony of dogs that did a great job from their cooking class.

After the class

picture taking the parents of the dogs rushed into the stage to take a picture with their children, except
for Max’s mom, though Max was in 2nd place, his mom just crossed her arms and gave Max a cold and
displeased look. Max’s dad was not around because of his business trip so Max was left with her mom
Mrs. Geef. Their family was comfortable, their not poor and not so wealthy, Mrs. Geef always had high
expectations to Max, no matter what Max was doing she always wanted him to win. Max was okay with
that because he thought that would make his mom happy but as time went by he realized that it wasn’t
really good.

After that, Max was tired of his mom and he then became rebellious, his grades were low and he even
cuts classes. He was so done, throughout his whole life he was under pressure because of his mom and
his dad was not always around because Mr. Geef goes for business trips he could be gone for a whole
year or 3 months, so Max was always around of Mrs. Geef. One day, he went home with wounds and
scratches, Mrs.Geef was scared and asked, “M-m-m-a-ax, what happened? Are you okay?” Max ignored
his mom and went straight to his room and applied some ointments to his wounds, Mrs.Geef knocked
the door and said,” max may I come in?” Max was so tired to be angry so he opened his door.

”Max lets talk, whats wrong with you these days?” Mrs. Geef said. “Mom, what’s wrong with you?”Max
replied. “Me? I did nothing wrong, okay maybe I did but I can’t remember, maybe you can tell me so
that we can sort it out?” Mrs. Geef said. “Ok mom, throughout these years I’ve trying to be a good boy,
I’ve tried so hard to be the top 1 in class, always win in sport competitions and when I make a small
mistake you always give me that cold stare, at the awarding from that cooking contest all their moms
hugged their pups and you just gave me a cold stare with arms crossed, I’m already tired, you gave me
such pressure all these years and I thought that would make you happy, that would make you love me,
but mom I’m done.” Mrs. Geef was speechless her tears began to fall and after a minute she said,”Max I-
I-I really didn’t know that you felt this way, all I wanted is for you to be good in everything all I wanted
was for you to be happy.” “ Well that’s what YOU wanted, I just wanted a loving mom and a happy life
with no pressure.”Max replied. “Mrs. Geef began to kneel down while crying and pleading, Max lifted
her up and said, “mom you don’t have to kneel its alright I forgive you, really.”

Mr. Geef arrived from his business trip and bought some delicious dog food and said, “HELLO? Wife??
Son? I’m back and I bought some good stuffs”. Mrs. Geef and Max went down and hugged Mr. Geef Max
said, ”its nice to have you back Dad.”
