Eric Patrick Clapton was
born on the 30th March 1945 in Surrey, England. His mother, Patricia Clapton was only 16 years old at the time of his birth and as she was too young to raise a child on her own, she left Eric with her mother and step father Rose and Jack Clapp. They never legally adopted him, therefore Shooting Script
Clapton grew up under the

When he was 16, Eric began studying at the Kingston college of art. He was expelled at the end of one year as he had not submitted enough work. Why?
