2 This shot transitions in with a map effect and the Dialogue of characters talking to one

rushes politely out of the shop and runs to his
tennis.

3 Alex rushes politely out of the shop and runs to
his tennis, Peter realises after that Alex has left his
wallet on the table and tries to catch up with him
to give Alex his wallet until a disaster happens.
Alex does not want to be late as it is trials he
looses focus and tries to cross the road, he does
not look behind himself and the driver in front was
not concentrating fully in the car which results into
Alex getting hit by the car. Peter hears something

screeching and running footsteps.Wind
sound effect. Car tiers rolling and deep
engine sound effect. Heart rate sound effect.

4 The next scene is when Alex wakes up into a Deep intense beat in the ear as a flash
hospital room and is woken up by his mum. He sound. Heart rate monitor sound. Crackling
cannot remember what has happened and why he sound, blood drop sound, characters
is the room and is confused. Alex looks down to dialogue, intense solemn music, grouching in
his leg in a POV angle to see that he can’t move pain, heavy panting / breathing ,
his leg much and feels in pain and starts to panic. crying ,gasping in horror, fast mumbled
He is told that his leg was the place of his body actions , dramatic music, doctors speaking
that has been effected the most (script will be in with his mother.

play tennis again due to his injury he has just
encountered on his leg. Alex goes into shock and
a tear goes down his face and goes into disbelief.
Everything goes into slow motion for Alex after
this in the scene.
Shooting Script

5 The next scene cuts into Alex’s room and pans Dramatic music, memoir music, slow
the room showing Alex’s success and breathing, disappointing and sad sighs,
achievements that he has gathered through his tennis presentators speaking about winning
tennis. Trophies will be shown, medals and shots, tennis ball hits, child hood memories
newspapers of him. This scene focuses on streaming, slam of door, dialogue of
building his background showing posters of his characters, shouting and yelling arguments,
tennis idols. This shot will feel quite cold and slow loud thrash of crutches, struggling sighs,
as if his goals and dreams have been lost. Alex heavy breathing
will come into his room slamming the door. His
mum will come in and try to talk to him (script will
be played) they end up having a disagreement
and it ends up with Alex’s mum Sarah going out of
his room. Alex throws his crutches to one side
and tries to get into bed, struggling to get into
properly, he curls into one side.
6 The scene cuts to a shot of Alex going out of his Footsteps ,dialogue, shouting arguments,
house for a walk. He closes the door behind him, crutches, rain, sad music.
the weather forecast will be quite dull and he goes
for a walk in the park, it will show a period of time
as when he comes back it is very dark, as soon as
he gets home his mum comes to the door and
starts to ask him a lot of questions like where did
he go and if he had played tennis. This forms into
another argument and he goes to his room and to
sleep
7 The scene cuts to Alex ignoring his mum and Computer keys clicking, motivational

8 The scene cuts to the day of the tournament and Dialogue between the two charters fighting,
Alex walks onto court with his crutches and his sounds of racket smashing on the floor,
tennis bag. The person he is playing against tennis balls being hit, grunting between the
laughs and looks at him on the change of sides. players, intense music, ball collision with the

The match goes surprisingly close with both
players winning a single point at a time. The
player that Alex is competing against purposely
cheats on a ball. The ball will smack the ball and
bounce of the line clearly in slow motion and it will
be a big point of the match Alex gets annoyed
and an argument arrises saying that the ball can’t
be out he trys to calm down and think about the
next point. Alex hits his first server into the net
and then double faults, he smashes a ball in rage
outside of the court and then moves his anger
onto his racket. He picks up his bag and throws it
onto the court he walks away in anger that he
cannot believe he has lost to him.
Shooting Script

9 The scene cuts to Alex smacking his door of the Slam of door, dream like effect sound,
room shut and goes to bed. The camera will come speaking between two charters dialogue,
down slowly and there will be a dream like effect. tense background music.
The cameras shutter speed will be on the lowest
setting frame rate to create a dream like effect
and the scene transitions to Alex being much
older he is shown training a girl and is seen to be
un happy with himself being a tennis coach. He is
shown trying to teach but the pupil is not listening
to him he can see his old white hair and glasses.
The girl in the dream hits Alex with a tennis ball to
the face and that is how he wakes up out of his
dream. He says to himself that he will do what
ever it takes and ignores anyone that will cause
him not to believe in himself to ignore.
10 Cuts into a scene of Alex struggling to leap with Motivational fast beat music
his crutches dramatic music will start to play, Alex
will show his progress over time within the
montage. He pushes the crutches down to one
side and walks a few steps and then tries again
and again until he does not need them, in the
montage it will not just show his success and the
easy process but I will show the pain and
discomfort he goes through. Running quick cuts
will be shown, lifting weights that are heavier
through time will be shown and the whole process
will make him look fitter and in better form. The
next scene will be of him
11 The next scene will be him shacking hands and Motivational fast beat music
winning tennis rally points easy like he has never
had his injury, the location will stay the same but
the characters will change when shaking hands to
represent he is winning. He is receives his biggest
trophy ever and talks to people about how he had
over come his injury and tells people that hard
work beats talent (more detail in script).
12 The last shot will be of Alex walking through out of Ending music

the locker rooms to a tennis match. I will portray it  

as if he is playing at Wimbledon for his first time
he will look very nervous but excited at the same
time it will be a slow walk and Alex will be wearing
all white he will walk down to a players only
access area before the screen goes blank and
text is displayed.
