What is project We Like?
Project We Like is an innova ve subject where learning of management concepts takes place
through video based teaching methodology and not through any books. Further, good news is that
you have liberty to select any topic of your interest while referring video content from “We Tube”,
“We Lounge” & “News wire”.

What is We Tube, We Lounge and Newswire?


We Tube - It is an online video library where students can view a large number of video lectures of
around 1 hour dura on developed with the help of experts from different strata of industry.
Students can view these knowledge sharing sessions for different ver cals like marke ng , Finance
etc. as well as for various so skills. Following are name of few such lectures available on We Tube:
1) Secrets of rising to the top 2) In search of happiness 3) Direc ng Marke ng 4) Interna onal Trade
5) Lean Manufacturing 6) Grid compu ng etc .

We Lounge - In this online ini a ve, dignitaries from various walks of life share their success
stories and also provide you with an in-depth analysis of how to be triumphant in your business
and over come obstacles. An interview with these luminaries on their success stories help you to
get all the informa on about their life journey and will inspire you to face the challenges of life.

Newswire - To help students to keep themselves abreast about what is happening in the business
world, the Ins tute offers an innova ve facility “News wire service” where students can find news
about the latest development happening in their chosen specializa on on daily basis just at a click
of a bu on.

What you are required to do in this project?


a) You have to study videos on any 5 topics from We Tube, 3 interview sessions from we Lounge
and 10 ar cles from news wire sec on (please note that you can select any topic from any
specializa on, i.e. it need not be related to your specializa on eg. if you are a finance
student, you can s ll study other topics like Dealing with Difficult People, Time Management,
etc.)
b) A er referring these content, you are required to make a PPT Presenta on for major learning
and other observa ons related to content studied by you from We Tube, We Lounge and
NewsWire Service. The total PPT presenta on can have 35 – 45 slides.

a) ATTENDING THE VIVA:


For Students Residing in and Around Mumbai :
You have to a end the viva at the Ins tute . Prior to a ending the viva, you are required to book in
advance the date and me slot by visi ng “sec on for current students” on the website. The
booking link will be ac ve around 1st day of the 3rd month of the semester. Students can give
viva at the ins tute on any day in the evening between 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm or on Saturday and
Sunday between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm depending on the availability of the slot. The slot booking is
strictly on 'First cum First basis'. Slot once booked cannot be cancelled or changed.
For the viva candidate has to bring the hard copy of the PPT presenta on and the print out of viva
booking slip. The candidate must have the viva presenta on on his/her pen drive for the viva
session.

For Students Residing outside Mumbai / Thane Region:


These students can book their slot for 'Online Viva Session' which will be conducted through virtual
class room. To a end the 'Online Viva Session', it is essen al to have a broadband connec on of
minimum 256 Kbps.

Student can book 'Online Viva Session' for any slots from Monday to Friday between 6:00 pm to
8:00 pm. 'Online Viva Session' will not be conducted on Saturday and Sunday. The slot booking is
strictly on 'First cum First basis'.

MARKS FOR THE PROJECT


The project will carry 100 marks. The student is required to secure minimum 50 marks to clear the
subject.

If the student is not able to give viva during above period, he can be given support to complete the
viva in the extendend period with payment of late fees depending on the availability of slot.
Last date for uploading and booking for viva is last day of the Sixth month of second semester. (Not
applicable for lateral entry (LPGD) students as they have subject immediately in their first
Semester).
IMPORTANT:
Please note that, only a limited number of viva can be conducted on daily basis. Hence , as the
number of days goes on reducing, total number of slots available will reduce accordingly and a
student may not be able to book the slot. Under these circumstances, student may miss the viva
and will be required to pay re-exam fees and appear for the same in the next semester. Following
will be the implica on of the same.
l They will be required to pay addi onal re-exam fees.

l Their project will be evaluated only in the next semester.

l Their marks as well as cer ficate will be issued in next semester i.e. the en re process will be

late by six months.
