new fully automated transfer cart offers users an effective, ergonomic
method to transport materials in a prearranged, reliable and safe manner.
Designed in either one or two positions (or stations), the transfer cart can
be coupled in a train formation, which is ideal for the transportation of materi-
als. The cart can also be designed for small aisles and tight corners, as it can be
configured and customized to a variety of styles that meet users’ unique, indi-
vidual needs. As a quad-steer design, the transfer cart also has tracking, as its
turning radius is better than a typical rigid and swivel design would have offered.

A series of industrial e-Power pushers (four in all) are designed to push
or pull in-plant trailers with a range of load capacities—from 3,000 to
100,000 pounds. The e-Power pushers are easier to navigate than AGVs
or forklifts. They are versatile, as they have smaller footprints than either
AGVs or forklifts. A new series of e-Power vehicles (three in all) feature
wagon-style steering and can push or pull payloads up to 10,000 pounds.

Cart system supports automatic material transfer

Now fully operational in a variety of locations across North America,
the CarryMatic No-Touch Materials Movement System supports material
transfers automatically. No human interaction is required during the mate-
rial movement process. To achieve this automatic transfer, AGV tuggers often
pull the trains of the CarryMatic applications, which typically use dual-bay smart
carts that can handle upward of 2,500-pound loads per bay. Concept carts, which will
be able to handle up to 5,400 pounds per bay for heavy and bulk-loaded material containers,

A recently released, single-direction, 1-ton drive Tugger AGV operates in a multi-
shift mode for heavy-duty usage. Featuring pipe and metal components, the Tugger
AGV is flexible and lightweight, despite its heavy-duty usage, as it can be easily and
safely lifted with forklifts for maintenance. Following a 1,000-foot, peel-and-stick
magnetic tape guidepath—with a long single run and a loop at either end to reverse
