3 INDULGENT SNACKS UNDER 500 CALORIES

Hey what's going on guys? Troy here and I am super excited to dive into 3 indulgent snacks under 500
calories. You know, going on a diet or trying to lose weight so many people think it's going to be
torture. Like they have to eat chicken and broccoli and all these plain foods, all these vegetables and
they won't be able to enjoy any kind of indulgent snacks. But I have the worlds biggest sweet tooth
and I'm always trying to find different tricks, different recipes that satisfy that sweet tooth without a
lot of calories. I'm really excited, I want to dive into 3 indulgent recipes under 500 calories. In fact,
some of these have under 400 calories like the first one I'm about to talk about.

My first indulgent snack recipe. Now I don't know about you guys but I am always craving something
chocolate, something peanut butter usually a combination of chocolate and peanut butter. This first
indulgent snack recipe is actually under 400 calories and it's going to satisfy that chocolate sweet
tooth, that peanut butter sweet tooth if you guys crave like peanut butter cups or anything really
sweet. This is definitely the go to recipe when you're trying to lose weight, reduce those calories. Let
me talk about how I made this.

Now these are ... Actually I just finished this bag here, but these are chocolate crunch rice cakes.
These are only 60 calories per rice cake so this is the main ingredient we need for this recipe. Then we
have chocolate PB2, this is powdered peanut butter, you can pick this up at most grocery stores or
even on Amazon. This has 85% less calories than regular peanut butter and you just mix for every 2
tablespoons of this you mix 1 tablespoon water. It makes a really good creamy lower calorie peanut
butter. This is the chocolate peanut butter kind. We have unsweetened applesauce, this is going to
add some really awesome texture especially if ti's cold. I really enjoy putting this cold in this recipe
just with the crunch and the chocolate peanut butter just adds an awesome overall texture and flavor.
Then a metabolism booster is cinnamon, just add a little bit more flavor, this helps boost our
metabolism, has a lot of blood sugar benefits. Cinnamon is one of the healthiest things, I try to always
incorporate it into dessert recipes when possible. It just happens to go really good with this recipe as
well.

What I did here is I just took 2 rice cakes and I made 6 total tablespoons of PB2, so 6 tablespoons only
has 135 calories of PB2, the rice cakes are 120 calories each so we're looking at about 250 calories
total and then all I did here is I added about a half cup of applesauce. We're looking at like a little
under 300 calories total. What I did is I have the rice cakes spread out and then I spread the chocolate
PB2 on the first layer, kind of see there under the applesauce. Then I just poured in about a quarter
cup of applesauce on each, spread it out evenly and then I sprinkled some cinnamon on top.

Such an easy recipe, it is so delicious. Very low calorie, actually under I think 350 total calories each.
You could actually have another one of these and still be under 500 or right around 500. Chocolate

peanut butter, I try to always eat these when I'm craving chocolate when I'm craving peanut butter
and I'm going on any kind of weight loss regimen such as I'm actually in the middle of one right now. I
actually had 6 of these post work out so that kind of just fit my post workout carbs for the day.
Anytime you guys are craving chocolate, craving peanut butter, try out this indulgent snack recipe
that is under 500 calories.

Okay next indulgent snack recipe under 500 calories, and this is really good if you're craving like dairy
like frozen yogurt or different kinds of ice cream or anything a combination of fruit and dairy. Let me
just dive right in and show you what I did here. As you can see I really like chocolate peanut butter
and this is another kind of chocolate peanut butter craving as well. This is a cup of the zero percent
Greek yogurt, this has 20 grams of protein and exactly 100 calories. Now what I did is I sliced a
banana, so this is a sliced banana, I put it around the perimeter here. Then I sprinkled 2 tablespoons
of this PB2, this is chocolate peanut butter. Then I put a tablespoon of chia seeds. Now chia seeds, see
these little black pellets? They don't really do much for the flavor, they actually add a little bit of
texture, gives it more like a gel like texture throughout which goes really well with the creamy Greek
yogurt.

Chia seeds have so many natural plant based omega 3's, one of the highest plant based omega 3
foods in the world. Any way you can get them into your diet I highly recommend it, just going to add a
ton of value, a ton of overall health benefits to your regimen. Then to make it really sweet, almost
taste like frozen yogurt, I put in this Pure Via stevia extract. Now this is no calories, pure stevia
extract. Tastes really good, tastes very similar to sugar and most importantly it's all natural. Then I
added another nice metabolism booster, this is obviously the second recipe now we're adding
cinnamon. Cinnamon is going to help boost your metabolism so anytime you can kill your sweet tooth
and increase your metabolism definitely killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

One little trick with this too is putting this in the freezer for 5 to 7 minutes gives it almost like a frozen
yogurt consistency. You then mix everything together and you have a delicious chocolate peanut
butter banana yogurt combination here, then we have some chia seeds as a health booster. Overall
this is a really indulgent filling snack, it's under 500 total calories and it's going to help maximize your
energy level. This is a good post workout snack, it's got good protein and good carbs. Try it out, it is
delicious. Trying to think about what I'm going to name it here, I usually have some kind of clever
name but I don't even know what to name it here. It's just my chocolate peanut butter chia Greek
yogurt and if you want to make it more ice cream like put it in the freezer for 5 minutes. You guys will
kill that sweet tooth, maximize your protein intake, your energy levels and your weight loss in 1
indulgent snack under 500 calories.

All right next indulgent snack recipe under 500 calories, you know it's not really dessert based, doesn't
kill a chocolate peanut butter craving or anything like that. Nonetheless it's really rich, it's really
decadent and it's really filling. We have this is just 8 ounces of curry chicken breast, so this is a really
good source of lean protein. This almost tricks your body into thinking that it's consuming more
calories than it really is. We have protein is really thermogenic, it's really filling. I mean this is 8 ounces
of chicken it only has about 140 calories but it's really filling. Then we're going to pair it with this is 4
tablespoons of 95% or greater avocado based guacamole. I'll definitely dip my chicken in the
guacamole. Honestly I can't stand eating plain chicken breast so anytime I can put like some hot sauce
or add some guacamole onto it it makes a huge difference in the flavor. Also this has a lot of health

benefits, a lot of monounsaturated fats, a lot of vitamin A, a lot of vitamin C. Avocado's really healthy
for you overall and it's just something that I really enjoy when I'm dieting and I'm trying to reduce my
overall calories. Nothing is better than putting some avocado on some fish or some chicken breast or
guacamole on anything just adds a ton of value, a ton of flavor. This only has about 140 calories right
here.

Then to pair this meal we have cinnamon sweet mashed potatoes. Now, I baked a sweet potato, I dug
out the inside and then I mashed it with some cinnamon and some stevia extract sweetening and
then I put a little bit of coconut oil. Putting this together makes it really sweet, almost gives it like a
dessert like consistency with the oil and the cinnamon and the plant based sugar extract. It gives it a
really sweet decadent flavor so as you can see it's a really filling meal. This has about 450 calories. You
have some delicious decadent with sweet potatoes you have guacamole that you can add on to your
chicken. All in all this is a such a healthy meal. You have tons of vitamins and minerals and
antioxidants from the guacamole and the sweet potato and then the curry powder even has a lot of
antioxidants with the turmeric powder and the different seasonings they put in the curry powder. This
is just a fantastic overall meal, it's going to keep you guys full for a really long period of time, it's going
to help you recover from your workouts, help you boost your metabolism, build muscle, even burn
body fat really rapidly all under 500 calories.
