Problem 1.

Ekank was running a small tea stall. A driver of the State Transport bus
halted the bus unattended on certain hills on slope. The bus suddenly
started moving and dashed against tea stall causing considerable
damage to the tea stall and also resulted to the injuries to Ekank. 
Ekank wants to take legal action.

Problem 2.

Ms. Rudri, a 23 year young & promising model, developed a severe pain
in the right side of her lower abdomen. She approached Dr. Maulik, a
renowned surgeon, who diagnosed that she is suffering from appendix
and advised her to go through appendectomy. After few weeks from
surgery she again suffered from lower abdominal pain and when
consulted another renowned physician Dr. Dhimahi, it was found that
Dr. Maulik, during the surgery, had damage her lower ovary which has
led to permanent non-fertility and severe abdominal pain. Mr. Kedar,
father of Ms. Rudri, aggrieved from this wants to initiate legal actions
against Dr. Maulik for criminal negligence and damages. He has come
to you for advice.

Problem 3.

 
 Mr. Rahil is one of the partners of Patel and Messrs Partnership firm
however; Rahil brought an action the other partners of a firm for a
recovery of money. During the pendency of an appeal Mr. D who was
the respondent partner died and his legal representatives were not
brought on record. Advice Mr. Rahil how to recover the money from
that partner.

Mr. Jatin was granted scholarship by the Wipro InfoTech ltd for higher
studies in United States upon a bond that he would serve the Wipro
InfoTech Ltd on his return, provided Wipro InfoTech offered him a job
within six month of his return, failing which the bond was to be taken
as waived. If Mr. Jatin failed to comply he was to refund the
scholarship money. On his request Wipro InfoTech Ltd agreed to an
extension of his stay in the United States for practical training for one
more year. On completion of his training he joined service in the

 Problems 5.

Mr. Harman is owner of land. He executed an unregistered agreement of


sale in favour of Mr. Biplob and received Rs. 5,00000/- as an advance
out of sale price of Rs.10,0000000/-. Mr. Harman has to execute a
Regd. Sale deed within three months from date of execution of
agreement of sale. But, Mr. Harman refused to execute Regd. Sale deed
and sold the said property to Mr. Bimal for higher price. Mr. Biplobhas
come to you.

Problem 6.

Mr. Vikram had applied for subscription in Rajlakshmi scheme of UTI


Mutual Fund. The essence of the scheme was that the sum of money
deposited with the UTI would grow 21 times in 28 years. However
subsequently, the UTI Mutual Fund extended the maturity date by two
years. Mr. Vikram has come to you.

Problem 7.

Mr. Haman had applied for allotment for 100 shares in the Pixel
company ltd. A letter of allotment addressed to Mr. Haman at his
residence was posted in due time, but it never reached to Mr. Harman.

Problem 8.

Ms. Mamata Prakash, senior vice president of a leading FMCG company


is also a frequent flier as she makes visits to various places with the
country and abroad. On day, when she reached the airport and was
about to check-in just 45 minutes before take-off, got an SMS from the
airline operator regarding delay of 3 hours in departure. She waited 3
hours but this delay was further extended and flight could finally take
off 6 hours late due to which she couldn’t attend an important business
meeting with her clients and her company suffered huge financial loss.
Aggrieved from this, she has come to you for advice.

Problems 9.
A local daily newspaper has published the news that Ms. Zeba, 17 years
old girl from well-educated and renowned family had run away with Mr.
Yusuf, 19 years old boy while coming from the tuition class. However,
she was with her friend Ms. Kavita on the said night. Ms. Zeba’s parents
are upset with this news and want to take legal recourse.

Problems 10.
Mr. Sakil has given his house on rent to Mr. Jeet with the condition
that he will deposit monthly rent in his bank account and when he will
come back from Sharjah, he will leave the house in one month. When
Sakil went to Sharjah, Mr. Jeet stopped depositing the rent and when
Sakil came back after eight months he refused to vacate the house.
