    OF MS. MARITESS
    QUIAMBAO BUAN

    I, Ms. MARITESS QUIAMBAO BUAN, of legal age, Filipino


    Citizen, married with residence and postal address at #29 Zamora
    Street, Baguio City, Phiippines, after having been duly sworn to by
    ATTY. EDGAR M. AVILA and ATTY. GISELLE ANNE B. DALLORAN,
    with office address at 85 Session Road, Baguio City, Philippines
    hereby depose an declare the following, fully conscious that I do so
    under oath and under pain of false testimony or perjury:

    1. Question: Do you personally know GORNAM KAUR who is the


    named petitioner in this case?
    Answer: Yes.

    2. Question: How long have you known the Petitioner in this case?
    Answer: Since 1987 or More than twenty (20) years.

    3. Question: How did you come to know her?


    Answer: She was introduced to me by my uncle Rodolfo
    Quiambao at the Baguio City Market as her family was
    supplying garments to our family for sale at the market.

    4. Question: What was your assessment of her?


    Answer: She was born here in Baguio City, studied
    elementary, High school and College here and raised her
    family has adopted to our culture, language, customs and
    traditions. I was with her almost everyday and know she
    was a good woman.

    5. Question: How does she treat Filipinos?


    Answer: In general, she treats the Filipinos with her kind
    and gentle approach.

    6. Question: What about in their barangay? Community?


    Answer: She is a well respected person in the community
    and joins different activities in Marbay and the Baguio City
    market like Christmas parties, anniversaries etc.

    7. Question: How do you know that?


    Answer: I was there too.

    8. Question: What have you observed in her?


    Answer: I noticed that she acts, thinks, feels like a Filipino.
    She eats Filipino and acts like a Filipino at all times.

    9. Question: Do you know if she intends to permanently stay in


    the Philippines with her family?
    Answer: During our long talks, she has manifested that
    long time ago and is taking her petition seriously.

    10. Question: Will you recommend to the Honorable Court


    that her Petition be granted?
    Answer: Yes Ma’am. I guarantee that she will be a good
    citizen and she will be of big help to us Filipinos.

    11. Question: What have you observed in her?


    Answer: I noticed that she acts, thinks, feels like a
    Filipino. I can boldly say that she is a Filipino in her heart,
    mind and soul.

    12. Question: How does the Baguio Community look at her?


    Answer: She is well loved and respected here.

    14. Question: How would you like the Court to act on the
    Petition?
    Answer: I hope the Court grants the same as petitioner
    is worthy to become a Filipino.
