    Yesterday I had an amazing day. I woke up very early because it was my birthday and I was so excited to celebrate with my family. First, I took a shower and then went to the local bakery to get my favorite bread and buy some pastries. While waiting, I read the newspaper. Suddenly my phone rang and my mom told me to come home quickly. When I got there, my family was singing our traditional birthday song and we had breakfast, eating eggs, bacon, and lots of cake that my mom had cut into small pieces so we could all have some. The town I grew up in has a tradition where I write a wish and throw it in the river. I made a wish and chose a family
