Other Information:
For the rest of the year, if you need to get in contact with me, there are several ways. You can email me
(williampearson@depauw.edu), text me (518-495-1040) or contact me through the GroupMe chat.

My office hours will be Monday - Friday from 12-1pm or by appointment!

Office hours will always happen through Google Meet. I will send out the Google Meet code
every day on the group-chat. It will be helpful for me if you let me know in advance if you plan
on ‘swinging by’ my office hours, but it is not necessary.

I will also have one-on-one Google Meet video-chats with each of you once a week. These may be
short check-ins, or they may be longer (up to 30 min) if you have questions or if there is individualized
information for that week) The schedule of these one-on-one weekly meetings is posted on moodle. If the
time I have selected for you doesn’t work, let me know as soon as possible. If you would like
to have an email or text back-and-forth instead of a video-chat, that’s fine too. I just want to make
absolutely sure I’m in contact with all of you at least once a week! If you last-minute cannot be
available for a particular scheduled meeting time, that’s OK! Just make sure you contact me
that day (through email, phone, or GroupMe) and we’ll arrange a different time or method.

All assignments/tests/activities/etc should be submitted as email attachments to me.

They will be due on the day listed (any time that day). Late assignments will be accepted, as usual, but
please let me know if you are going to be late with any assignment.

Access to a printer is not necessary, but having some way to send me your work is. Please let
me know (if you haven’t already) if you anticipate issues with sending me assignments/tests/etc. Writing
the answers to the assignment on a separate piece of paper, and then taking a picture with your phone of
that paper, and emailing or texting it to me is totally fi ne. Doing everything digitally is also fi ne.

All tests/assignments/finals/etc. will be ‘open book’ and ‘open notes’ going forward. Feel
free to communicate with each other while completing assignments, but not while completing tests or the
fi nal. Tests and the fi nal will be posted the day of the test, and you will have as much time as you
need that day to complete them. Please let me know as soon as possible if you anticipate having issues
with completing a test on the day scheduled.

Grading will be lenient. My emphasis will be on completion of the assignment and providing feedback.
Yes, even for you, Justin.

Make-ups of prior missed work can be done by submitting class exercises listed as ‘not graded’.
