5 things I was doing yesterday:

- Yesterday I was working at laboratory with my job partners

- Also I was writing my thesis to graduate son
- I was watching a movie with my girlfriend
- After the movie, we were eating Pizza in Drive-Pizza
- Before go to bed, I was watching a Tv serie almost 10 pm

5 things I wasn’t doing yesterday:

- I wasn’t playing Volleyball with Friends

- Me and my girlfriend weren’t eating at Battuto’s restaurant
- I wasn’t singing in a concert on another city
- I wasn’t fighthing with my sister, because I love her so much
- I wasn’t shopping new clothes

PART 3. Activities you will do next weekend

Jairo’s weekend:

On Saturday, the first thing I should do is go to see Bucaramanga’s football team at the stadium
Alfonso Lopez; then I must come to my job to work for three hours, because at the end of
November we’ll have a very important audit for the company. That day in the afternoon I have to
go home to study my english skills to get better everyday, and in the evening I can see another
chapter for my favorite serie: American Horror Story, Season three Coven; cause I love horror
movies.

Next day on Sunday, I can sleep all morning long cause during week I must wake up so early
everyday, so that day I could stay at bed and wake up almost noon because I have to prepare
my own lunch. In the afternoon I guess I could see with my girlfriend and we may go to the
closest park, eat some sweet things and have a great time with her.

Finally on Monday, I could wake early to get out for a run across the neighborhood, but I should
take breakfast first. Then would swim in the pool for a while and eat some ice cream for the
warm day. That night I wolud like to stay at home cause next week will be so hard for all of us in
the laboratory.

Good morning partner, I think your text is well structured, elaborate correct and well structured
sentences, I find it interesting your weekend, since it is emphasized in the realization of sports
and spending valuable time with your family. The partner uses the future properly (I will go to),
which determines the structure of most of the sentences, which I consider very well.

Good morning partner, I consider that it elaborates well structured sentences but you should
organize them within a paragraph, attaching connectors between each of them, to improve the
content of the contribution and in that way build a solid paragraph, but good work.

Individual Postcard

Hello Dear friend!

I hope you have a great day, I want to tell you about my favorite place and I hope you visit me
as we had planned.

This is my favorite place, it´s the town of San Juan de Girón in Santander, it´s a very nice place,
calm and with a colonial architecture very visited throughout the year. This is a tourist place of
Santander, where visitors can walk along it`s old streets and to see wonderful landscapes. The
town has a beautiful church, big and with a unique architecture, also there is restaurants where
the food is delicious and economical. I enjoy this place but the visitors are generating solid
waste that to remove beauty to the town, So it´s necessay to have more environmental
conscience to protect beautiful places like this.

In the English III course, there are six activities that make up the intermediate evaluation, which
are:

b. Why is it so important to check the “Course Forum”?

In the forum of the course you will find all the recent news presented by the course director, in
addition to the questions and concerns that the students have and you can generate an
interaction with the tutors and directors. Here you will find the latest events of the course.

c. Where can you find the number of your group and the name of your tutor?

In the collaborative learning node, it is possible to get to know the classmates, the group
information and the assigned tutor, through which communication can be established for the
development of the different activities.

d. How many topics are there in the Unit 1? Mention the topics that belong to this unit.

The Unit 1, called Expressing ideas and information effectively, is located in the knowledge
node, which has a general unit that is the correct use of the simple past.

The unit consists of 5 themes which are:compound adjectives.

- Modals verbs.

- Past progressive.

- Time and enough clauses.

- Use of -ING forms.

e. Explain with your own words the aim of the link Listening and Pronunciation Tools (Practice
learning environment).

It is a tool available for the student to practice and develop exercises to improve listening skills
and pronunciation, this tool consists of several tips and practices that test the ability to listen and
pronounce, helping the student to improve considerably in this pulled apart.

informed about the activities that will be implemented in unit 1 and where to get the information
from the tutor and colleagues

Why is it so important to learn English in order to have better job oportunities?

because many of the manuals and procedures of different teams are in the English language
and that is why it is necessary for the worker to be able to translate them and apply them in their
daily tasks.

because English is the universal language and through it you can start a conversation with
anyone around the world
