During my studies at Arizona State University and Scottsdale Community College, I specialized in pastry
creation and presentation. I’ve always aspired to become a Pastry Chef and have taken cooking classes
abroad in Italy and Spain to improve my skills. The opportunities given to me have allowed me to grow as
a pastry chef and learn the art of culinary.
As an employee at a fast food restaurant, In N Out, I am highly qualified in customer service and working
with others in the kitchen. Customer service is significant to me as it is to the food service industry. It
either makes it breaks it for the customer’s decision to visit again. Working cooperatively with others in the
kitchen is key to a successful and smooth kitchen. I am adjusted to a fast pace environment where
efficiency is important.
Being able to exceed goals and be inspired and inspire other cooks, I am looking forward to the thought of
working at Sur La Table. It is important that I use my skills and appreciation of the art to help a company
