Dear Hiring Manager,

I am interested in applying for the banquet server position at The Little

America Hotel. I am currently a student at Coconino Community College, and
working towards getting my associate’s degree in general studies. I have my
food handlers card. I also have experience working in a restaurant and
serving customers due to my last job at Lone Spur Cafe which also gave me
experience working in a fast-paced environment. In addition, I have
experience bussing tables and setting tables.

I have experience working with a team and communicating ideas and

suggestions. I have leadership experience as I was in student council all four
years of high school and was the senior class president. I also meet all of your
physical requirements such as sustaining repetitive movements, lowering and
raising objects, and standing for long periods of time.

I believe that I am an excellent candidate for this position due to my

experience. I would like an opportunity for an interview to further discuss my
experience and interest in this position. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Michela Stutzman
