Objective
To begin my work experience and acquire new skills and techniques that will aid me in the future.
Education

Merced High School, Class of 2017; will be attending UC Merced in fall of 2017.
Experience
Sonrisas Taqueria- When my parents managed the restaurant, I would help clean and serve food to
customers over the summer. This was my first time being exposed to the restaurant environment.
Merced Rotary Shrimp Feed- I have volunteered at this event multiple times as part of my school
football teams goals to serve the community. This has helped me improve my people skills and has
taught me how to serve customers.
Food Vendor- My family used to be in the food vending business and served at events like concerts,
rodeos, and parties to name a few. I would help by writing down orders and cleaning up tables. This
exposed me to the busy environment of the restaurant business.

Extracurricular Activities

Merced High Football- I have been a proud member of my schools football program since the
second semester of my freshman year. Being a part of this has taught me how to communicate with
others as a team and work very hard to reach the same goals.
Gateway Scholarship Program- I recently enrolled into this program during my Junior year of high
school. This program selects only a small number of students and my hard work and character in the
classroom has given me the opportunity to pursue high level universities in California and other
states as well.
Central California Conference All Academic Team- This is awarded to student athletes who
participated in a sport and were able to maintain a GPA of 3.50 or above.
