JOB OBJECTIVE

Full-time cooking, prep work, providing customer service in the Food/Hospitality Industry. Looking to work under chefs and cooks with more experience to gain new abilities and to learn more of the culinary trade.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES Currently have about 3-4 years of cooking and prep cooking experience from working in various assisted living and/or retirement facilities. Has a passion for cooking in general and is willing to learn more about cooking. Fast, efficient, and good work ethic. Willing to take constructive critisism ans able to apply it to improve my work. Has yet to learn how to line cook but can work fast on my feet while multitasking and is willing to learn. Has had some experience with customer service and can show that I can provide the best care to whomever the target customer is. Possesses baking experience, saute experience, grilling, and has a flair for creativity. With my past job experiences I have the ability to be very flexible with my scheduling and am able to work night shifts and day shifts as well.

I also facilitate the workings in the kitchen and make sure the other coworkers are doing their job as well. If there is help that is needed or if a resident is in need of a snack then it is also my job to provide that. I do my own prep work, cleaning and of course the cooking and baking of the meal that is assigned to me.

I made desserts, helped served meals with the cook and then I finally became a cook myself and learned under a trained chef on how to maintain proper temperatures for food and time management for preparing meals.
