INFORMATION
Dear Admitted Student:

Welcome to the LLM Class of 2017! LLMs take Foundations of U.S. Law and Legal
Research and Writing as part of our summer program. Thereafter, you can select your courses
from the diverse and rich curricular offerings described in this booklet.

The list that follows is representative of the wide range of classes taught at Penn Law over
the last two years. Many of these will be taught when you are studying with us, but given
the ongoing evolution of our strong curriculum, we will most likely offer new classes not yet
created as well as replace some of those you see in this booklet.

The Registrar’s Office will be a place where we hope you feel welcome. Students often have
a great deal of interaction with us on a daily basis, coming here for course registration, room
assignments, examinations, and a host of other student-related issues. We join with all of
the administrative offices at Penn Law in our desire to foster a supportive, warm community
for you, not only while you are enrolled at the Law School but in the years following your
graduation.
