BOOK REPORT

Being religious is sometimes thought to be the same as with discipleship, they falsely
knew that if you are religious you are good in the eyes of God. Religious people are just
considered as to be church goer while disciples are meant to receive instructions so that they
could live a lifestyle of a true disciple of Jesus Christ. BOMB told that discipleship is very
important, for it is so rare to among us Christians now days. He too said that Church shouldn’t
make programs or Church plans to reach the multitude but to have goal of raising up disciples
whom the multitude will follow. It is about the configuration of our life to what is written in the
Bible. So, discipleship can’t just attain in just one step it takes four and those are; Selection;
Association; Consecration and Delegation.

Now let’s begin with Selection, this first step simply means by being chosen to God.
When God saw your potential to be a great disciple, He will not hesitate to choose you no matter
how bad your situation in life. Just let God for he has a plan unto your life. Then, once you are
chosen all you have to do is to follow God and go wherever He will go. That’s the we call
Association. This second step brings important present to us, like it will make you as disciple
more efficient, your mind is being change and your eyes are being opened. At this step an
illumination or door of discipleship is starting to open widely. Next, the Consecration, this is
about obeying God and submitting to God. We obey to the Word and we submit to the will of
God. Obeying and having the spirit of submission to your leader is the same as with God. They
are God’s appointed people then follow them as they appointed you as well. And lastly,
Delegation, this is more on being a responsible believer. Where in Jesus expected us to work for
him by having a ministry inside the church. Working for God is as well a factor on how we can
go to heaven, said by BOMB which is indeed true and believing matter.

Discipleship is about being “tuloy-tuloy” not “tuloy-putol”, continuous service to God

can help you experience amazing things. Yes, you started by receiving your salvation but if it is
not accompanied by discipleship it is all around cheap, said by BOMB. We are not meant to be
saved but we are meant to change the world. Our world needs Christ so we Christians should
work for it by starting with Discipleship.
