Introduction:
To make a luminous solution with baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, bleach
and Mountain Dew soda. The baking soda acted as the alkaline (base) solute. The
Mountain Dew soda acted as the solvent while the hydrogen peroxide and bleach
acted as the catalyst of the reaction.

II. Materials:
 Mountain Dew
 Baking soda
 Hydrogen Peroxide
 Bleach

III. Procedure:

Setups Luminous Solution

1 1. 125 mL Mountain Dew soda
2. Put 5g of Baking Soda.
3. Put 10 mL of Hydrogen Peroxide.
4. Lastly, put 10 mL of Bleach.

2 1. 125 mL Mountain Dew soda

2. Put 10g of Baking Soda.
3. Put 10 mL of Hydrogen Peroxide.
4. Lastly, put 10 mL of Bleach.
3 1. 125 mL Mountain Dew soda
2. Put 15g of Baking Soda.
3. Put 10 mL of Hydrogen Peroxide.
4. Lastly, put 10 mL of Bleach.
4 1. 125 mL Mountain Dew soda
2. Put 15g of Baking Soda.
3. Put 15 mL of Hydrogen Peroxide.

4. Lastly, put 15 mL of Bleach.

5 1. 125 mL Mountain Dew soda
2. Put 15g of Baking Soda.
3. Put 20 mL of Hydrogen Peroxide.

4. Lastly, put 20 mL of Bleach.

6 1. 125 mL Mountain Dew soda
2. Put 15g of Baking Soda.
3. Put 25 mL of Hydrogen Peroxide.
4. Lastly, put 25 mL of Bleach.

V. Conclusion:

I therefore conclude that the set up no 6 has a slight luminescence after I add a
higher amount of baking soda and catalyst. It worked well, after the second and third time
of testing.
