Is Singing Competition Really Good for Children?

Competition is a place to show our ability to audience. There is competition for teenager, for adults
for kids. They also can join a competition appropriate with their ability such as singing, writing,
cooking. We know that nowadays, there are many singing competitions on television. The one is The
Voice Kids on Global TV. Although a lot of children love singing, their parents just pass their children
skill. Some parents debate about whether joining their children in singing competition during childhood
might improve children’ skill performance. But, If I had children, I would join them to some singing
competition to develop their ability or skill. It is because some experts explain how important children
join that activity. Although some parents disagree join them children to the activity, there is some
evidence that joining children to that competition when they still in childhood.

Opponent of parents claims that childhood is special time to children focus playing what they want.
However, they do not know that children in playing just not only for fun also have more friend. In the
singing competition, their children will meet some children whom have the same skill. They might be
happy to sing together before the competition which will be held. They can also brainstorm about which
song will they shown to jury. If the parents know this feeling, they would join their children a lot of
sing competition.

Opponents also maintain that they act as if they were a child, they still would not know about their
skill. They said that childhood is playing period where children doing something just because their friend
do the same thing or because they just like it. But, the parents never aware if children’s skill should be
sharpened in childhood. For example, Agnez Monica who is international singer from Indonesia. She
sharps her singing skill since she was a girl. It is because her parents aware about their daughter skill so it
makes them support Agnez, it makes them appreciate Agnez, and it makes them help Agnez.

The final argument advanced by opponents claim that join singing competition will make children
easy to give up and sad if there is a rival has more good voice. In fact, it is humane if has that feeling but
as their parents we should tell them about hard working, hard practicing, and hard hoping. So it
makes them will get used to working hard to become a better singer. Actually, the parents who are afraid
of their children’s fail will make children become timid and whiny. The more they used to feel
competition vibe the more they are become brave man.

It should be evident that the arguments against the opponent’s claim about singing competition for
kids. Even, the experts tell the reader how important join the children to join some competition such a
singing contest. There are a lot of evident that I have explain in this essay argument. The children will
have a lot of friend from the same skill. The skill will be increasingly honed and the children will be
brave man.
