System Requirements
The following parts are the minimum hardware requirements for proper operation:
• Pentium-IV 1.6 GHz, 256MB RAM or greater
• 1 available USB 2.0 port
• Graphics Card (Must Support DirectX 9.0c)
• Sound Card (AC97 compatible sound card)
• 1 GB Free HD Space
• CD-ROM Drive (For software installation)
• Microsoft Windows ® XP SP1(SP2 is recommended)

Hardware Installation
Install the hardware as follows before installing the software：
1. Connect the antenna or cable to the TV-IN input on the PVR-TV 300U PRO USB 2.0 Device.
2. Plug PVR-TV 300U PRO USB 2.0 Device into your USB 2.0 port.

Driver Installation
Before installation, we recommend that you close all background programs. These include
applications such as anti-virus software and system monitoring applications.
To install the Windows® drivers, please follow the steps as below：

1. Once the PVR-TV 300U PRO hardware is plugged, the Windows “Found New Hardware
Wizard” will appear automatically. Click “Cancel” and use the PVR-TV 300U PRO driver
setup utilities to install it manually.
2. Insert the installation CD into the CD drive and the autorun page will appear. Select “Driver
Installation” to install the necessary drivers and utilities.
3. The InstallShield Wizard will guide through installation of Driver Installation. Click “Next”
to continue.
4. The Windows “Kworld PVR-TV 300U PRO BDA Drivers Setup Wizard ” will appear.
Click “START” to install the BDA drivers. Depending on your system, the installation may
take several minutes.
5. The Windows of successfully installing message will appear. Choose “Yes, I want to restart
my computer now” and click “Finish” to restart the operating system and activate the driver.

Installation of PVR PLUS

After the drivers are installed, the next step is to install “PVR PLUS” application. Please follow
the steps as below to install it.
1. Select “PVR PLUS” from the autorun page to install the application.
2. The install wizard will guide you through the proper steps so click “Next” to continue.
3. Choose a destination location where you want to install the files. You may click “Browse” if
you want to change the destination folder.
4. The setup program will add program icons to the Program Folder listed.
5. You may type a new folder name, or select one from the existing folders list. Click “Next” to
begin the installation. Depending on your system, the installation may take several minutes.
6. After the InstallShield Wizard has finished setting up PVR PLUS, click “Finish” to end the
installation.
7. Please restart the operating system.

Note：
1. The multi-language installation manual requires the Adobe Acrobat® reader. To install
Acrobat®, insert the CD and use the “autorun” command to select the Installation Manual
Directory and install the language of choice.
2. You can restart the operating system after installing “PVR PLUS” application.

Remote Control Functions

：Turns on/off the PVR PLUS Program.

Source：Switch Video Source(Antenna, Cable, Memory, Composite, S-Video ).
Zoom：Switch between full screen and windowed viewing modes.
Shut Down：Shut down the PC.

Please press 「 」button to turn off the “PVR

PLUS” and then press 『shut down』button.
After that, it will appear a warning-message
window. Press 「 」button again to shut down.

CH+/CH-： Switch to the next/previous channel.

VOL-/VOL+： Decrease/increase the volume.
Numeric Keypad： Keypad for channel selection.
：Switch to the previously selected channel.
：Enter input number.
Rec：Record the current program.
Stop：Stop the playback or recording of the current program.
Play：Play the recorded file.
Mute：Turn on/off the Audio.

 ：Goes to the beginning of the file.
：Goes to the end of the file.
：Rewinds the current TimeShift or recorded video
：Move forward the current TimeShift or recorded video
Timeshift (Red key)：First click “Red key” to start the TimeShift function and several seconds
later click “Play key” to execute.
Sleep timer (Green key)：Set PC to turn off automatically after a predetermined period of time.
Snapshot (Yellow key)：Capture the on-screen image to a file.
Preview (Blue key)： Preview the TV programs multiply.
