Hello, Conor,

First of all, thank you for taking this assignment. It should be extremely straightforward, and
there is no need to prepare anything. There is another ALT working at this school called Mick.
He can help you if you have any questions, and also update you if anything changes (as it
regularly does!)

Assignment time

The assignment time is actually 8:30am - 4pm. First period starts at 8:45am. Classes are either
45 minutes or 50 minutes. You'll find the full timetable on the wall, under the clock, next to the
principal's desk.

Schedule
May 30th - Please help Tanida-sensei today. His classroom is on floor 2. He often uses a timer
in his lessons, so please take one from my desk. You should have classes 2nd period, 3rd
period, 4th period and 5th period.

June 4th - Please help Mick and Takahashi-sensei with the kokusai class. Mick will brief you
before the lessons. You should have classes 2nd period, 3rd period and 4th period.

June 6th - Please help Ishikawa-sensei today. Her classroom is on floor 3. You may need a
pen. She should have classes 1st period, 2nd period, 3rd period and 4th period.

This schedule is extremely likely to change because of the impending sports day. Mick will
help you work out which classes have and haven't been cancelled every morning.

Other info
The JTEs are extremely nice and won't ask too much of you.

The kids are amazing and you shouldn't experience any behavioural problems. They will be
very curious about you, so it might be a good idea to prepare a brief self-introduction in case the
JTEs ask for one.

Feel free to bring a laptop, although there is no internet access.

My desk is right at the front of the room, in front of the vice-principal's desk.
