This course provides material and means to bring programming and hands-on robotics into the classroom and curriculum according to the material prepared for and standards set by the Finnish national curriculum for primary education. The course is organised in cooperation with Code Schoo! Finland. Participants have the extra option to get certified and gain access to learning modules of choice and to further utilize in teaching the contents of the Programming Learning Library provided by Code Schoo! Finland. Target group + Teachers and headmasters of primary schools for age groups 7-15 year old + Teacher trainers + Careers officers, educational guides and counsellors hitps:fiwwneuneoscaurees 2u!?p=2451 18 1101/2020 Coding ard Robotics in Classroom - based on Finish Curriculum - Euneos Erasmus+ courses = Headmasters/principals/managers of schools and organizations offering primary education (age groups 7-15 years old) = Teachers of talented/gifted children Main topics of this course = Coding principles and motivation, basics coding concepts + Developing computational thinking = Objective of curricula internationally, integrating programmin: = Programming for grades 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9 = Programming with BBC micro:bit = Programming with tablets + Code.org, Scratch and beyond + Graphical/semi-textual coding environments = Robotics, principles and environments, = Animations, game basics, game programming concepts = Moving from block languages to Python + Hands-on implementation of a project suitable for own grade * Classroom visits Methodology of the course + An introduction to each topic ~ a mixture of trainer-led presentations and pair/group exercises = Hands-on work. Participants will make their own programming projects of programming and practice the concepts in different programming environments = Classroom visit to a local school or code school premises, experiencing a programming class with selected age group Validation The course participants will get a Certificate of active participation. Participants have the extra option to get certified and gain access to learning modules of choice and to further utilize in teaching the contents of the Programming Learning Library provided by Code School Finland. The competences acquired will be validated by the course organisers on the Europass mobility ‘Accommodation and meals Participants take care of booking their hotel. Euneos will give advices for hotels in different price categories. Participants are free in choice of hotels and restaurants. Accommodation tobe paid directly by participants to hotels and restaurants.
