A "container" is any structure the retains waste water and has a volume such as a septic tank, grease trap, collection tank, lagoon, etc.
Maintenance applications are typically applied nightly, or at a time of low water use and flow.
This information is intended as a guide. Application rates for any system can vary.
Systems with short hydraulic retention times (HRT<15 Days), with minimial retuns.
Initial application amount is based on the total capacities of each container.
Maintenance applications are based on the volume of waste water generated per day.
Nightly maintenance applications are usually very important for treatment success.
