Requirements: Microphone, web camera, stable internet connection, teaching
materials, assessments, an application for live teaching, discussion board
1. Use an application to host a live session such as Blackboard Collaborate Ultra,
Zoom etc. (The platform depends on the functions you need)
2. Teach your students live while sharing your materials on the screen
3. Allow live discussions on the chat or provide a discussion board for after the
session
4. Provide formative assessments to be completed during the live session or after
the session
5. Send the materials to your students for reference and review (Can be sent before,
during or after the session.)

Option 2: Pre-Recorded Lecture


Requirements: Microphone, web camera, teaching materials, screen recording
application, discussion board/ chatroom OR Video camera, microphone, whiteboard,

1. Record your lecture using Screencast-O-Matic/ PowerPoint Recording or record


yourself teaching using a video camera
2. Upload the lecture on a platform such as eLearn, YouTube, OneDrive etc.
3. Provide a discussion or chatroom for discussion about the lecture
4. Provide formative assessments to be completed after listening to the recording
5. Send the materials to your students for reference and review (Can be sent before,
during or after the session.)
