I. Executive Summary

II. Rationale
Pursuant to DepEd Order No.35, s 2016,In line with the implementation of
Republic Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of
Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed policy on the Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to
12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy
for the improvement of Teaching and learning.

In this connection, MAPEH Teachers of Masaguisi National High School will

conduct its LAC Session to improve and enhance teachers in their subject areas they are
teaching.

III. Project Objectives

This training generally aims:
 to improve the teaching-learning process that will lead to improved learning among
students;
 to nurture successful teachers;
 to enable teachers to support each other to continuously improve their content and
pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills and attitudes and;
 Foster a professional collaborative spirit among school heads, teachers and
community as a whole.

Specific Objectives:
The conduct of this LAC Session expects participants to have:

 Teachers are well equipped with desired knowledge, skills and attitudes on Music,
Arts, Physical Education and Health in teaching.
  Enhanced ability in using ICT in teaching- learning process as another way of
communication to students and parents.
 Build good rapport to co-teachers that will result commitment in mentoring and
sharing of teaching practices to improve teaching instruction in the new normal
mode of delivery
III. Methodologies
The session will be conducted twice a month every 1:00-4: 00 in the afternoon. It will be
facilitated by the proponents of the group. The session shall conducted through lecture, oral
presentation shall be undertaken in order to present information, updates and knowledge about a
particular topic. A discussion shall be instituted; such will cater an interactive, spontaneous
communication between the lecturers and the participants. Lastly, an open forum shall be encouraged
so that the lecturers and the participants can openly exchange ideas and information about specific
issues in order to reach an agreement.
