Abstract

CENEX is the Central Excise Software that aims to take care of all the statutory registers
and returns required under the Central Excise Act and Rules. It offers Comprehensive
solution to maintain Central Excise records for any manufacturing Unit of small scale or
large scale. Although Central Excise applies to registered Dealers also, the practices and
methodology is significantly different from that of manufacturing units.

L'eXcise is designed and developed after a thorough study of various Norms and Rules
described in Central Governments Excise and Customs Laws - like Central Excise duty,
Tariff, and Postings of Registers etc. So all the Special features of Cenvat are adopted
and incorporated in this application.

L'eXcise - The software prevents many mistakes that take place often, e.g., availing
duplicate credit, dispatching without stock in the R.G.1 register, dispatching incomplete
quantities for job work and not availing Cenvat completely. During manual management
these mistakes would have cost companies heavily and they are now insulated from such
a consequence as a result of using this software.

L'eXcise provides proper Security control for the users, which also helps to restrict the
tampering of results and reports. Strictly only authorized users are permitted for logging
into this system.

payments. Modules work in accordance with one another. They are intuitive, easy to
understand with screens that include drop down menus, familiar toolbars, shortcut and
auto-fill features to make short work of your data entry activities.
