WHAT IS THE CVV NUMBER?

The CVV code, also known as the security code, is a three or four digit code imprinted on credit cards and is used
to help merchants verify transactions when the actual card is not present.

Entering this security code helps ensure that the physical card is in the cardholder’s possession while shopping
online helping to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE CVV NUMBER ON MY CARD?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover

The CVV number is printed on the back of your credit/debit card directly next to the signature panel strip and
the cards account number.

American Express

The CVV number is printed on the front of your credit card above the card account number on the right hand
side of the card.
