On 17th February a marathon will be held in Castellón in order to raise money for the
charity “Help Disabled Children”.

All the money will be donated to disabled children with economic problems as well as
the Castellón Hospital, where some research on this kind of genetic illnesses is taking
place.

Help Disabled Children started raising money in 2004. This money has mainly been
used to promote scientific research and supply medicines to poor families. Last year
over 2,000 children received financial support from this charity. This year, the directors
of the charity expect to raise enough money to fund an expensive research at Castellón
Hospital, which is at risk of being given up because of the investment cuts in the Health
Service that were recently done by the government.

The marathon price is €10 but if you are not interested in running you can collaborate
by giving €15. If you can’t afford that, any amount would be welcome. You can also
buy some shirts, lighters or caps that will be for sale on the marathon day.
