1a: Demonstrating Knowledge of Content and Pedagogy
Comment: You seem to have a clear sense of the content that is being
taught and how concepts relate together. There is room to use an increased
range of pedagogical approaches in your instruction.

Comment: One example of this is using video clips to teach students how to
identify plot structure.

3d: Using Assessment in Instruction
Comment: The assessment criteria are consistently communicated to
students so they are aware of what they need to know and be able to do.
During class instruction, if instructional feedback is given it is typically
general. There are still further opportunities for students to assess their own
work.

Comment: Anna stayed in the confines of the curriculum thus far though
there is opportunity to branch out in the upcoming placement. Additionally,
"seeking out" opportunities for growth will help progress in this area.

General Comment: Anna, you are a delight to watch in the classroom. You
have clearly worked hard in your student teaching placement so far and
have grown significantly in your practice already, especially in terms of
classroom management and your presence in the classroom. You have a
genuine and authentic presence that you bring to your interactions with
students and staff that helps build meaningful relationships. Keep up the
good work. I am excited to see what more you learn from your new
placement and how you continue to grow as an educator.
