1b: Demonstrating Knowledge of Students
Comment: I have watched you demonstrate knowledge of how kids learn
and you have consistently demonstrated that in your instruction to the class
as a whole. You intentionally structured transitions to accommodate for
students to organize their papers so they were prepared for the next
segment of learning.

4d: Participating in the Professional Community

Comment: This is an area where you have truly demonstrated greatness

and tremendous growth. You demonstrate mutual support and cooperation
and actively participate in the school culture. The only aspect that is holding
back from a "3" is "making a substantial contribution" and with additional
time in this placement, there is continued opportunity for that to be realized.

Domain 4: Professional Responsibility

4e: Growing and Developing Professionally

Comment: Anna stayed in the confines of the curriculum thus far though
there is opportunity to branch out in the upcoming placement. Additionally,
"seeking out" opportunities for growth will help progress in this area.

Domain 4: Professional Responsibility

4f: Showing Professionalism

Comment: "Anna always carried herself with the utmost professionalism

both in front of students and behind the scenes. She was mature and
accepted constructive criticism, she was also patient with students and
myself. There were many times where Anna would be teaching me
something new regarding technology. She was never condescending or
judgmental. She truly is an open student and teacher." The only thing
holding back from a "distinguished" rating in this competency would be
taking on a leadership role with colleagues which she will grow into with
more time teaching and meeting with the team of educators.

Proficient - Level 3
3 points
out of 4

General Comment: Anna, you are a delight to watch in the classroom. You
have clearly worked hard in your student teaching placement so far and
have grown significantly in your practice already, especially in terms of
classroom management and your presence in the classroom. You have a
genuine and authentic presence that you bring to your interactions with
students and staff that helps build meaningful relationships. Keep up the
good work. I am excited to see what more you learn from your new
placement and how you continue to grow as an educator.
