Existing Solutions & The Problem

Flow meters are generally installed at the water source of every

building. While these meters will give you information on how much
water is being consumed by the entire building, information about
individual consumption, leakages, open taps and other water saving
inputs based on history and consumption patterns will not be
available.

either change to a more efficient shower head/ tap or include flow
reducing valves.

of installation, VenAqua
alerted leakages & open taps on 20

potentially saving 20,000 litres of
water.
Plumbing Bypass Alert

Data tracked and analyzed to detect plumbing line diversion of

WTP into STP inlet.

Observation: In one of the room there was a bypass found during

our testing. Maintenance team rectified it after we notified them.

Commercial Kitchen – Usage

Through the data collected

from the kitchen, our client was
able to reduce the water
consumed per plate by 10
litres.

The amount initially used for

cooking and plate cleaning was
30 litres per plate. It reduced to
20 litres/ plate. Our goal is to
reduce it to 10 litres in the
future

How did we reduce?

We analysed the flow rates of
taps used in the plate cleaning
section and suggested client to
change to shower type taps to
cut flow rate by half.
