Practice Right Tally Sheet


The goal of your practice is to get better playing your instrument, one small task at a time.

 Each day you practice, mark a tally for each time you practice the tasks in the first column.
Tally goals for each item are listed in each task box. Some things you do once every day you practice,
like stretching. Other things you get to decide when you want to work on them over the week.
 BUT: Only mark a tally for doing your task correctly! Don’t count the times you make a mistake.
 Short practice sessions 5 days a week are better than one big long one.
 It’s not about the time spent, it’s about achieving quality and improving your playing each week.
