When you talk about or write about the things that you do regularly, what
word will you use to make certain that the action is happening now or the action is
habitually done?
This time, you will learn about time expressions. The activities included
here will help you to use the correct time expressions to use action in the present
both in speaking and writing.

There are many words and expressions to refer to time.

These are called time expressions.
It shows the time at which an action happens.
The following are time expressions used to tell action in the present.
- today
- every day/every morning /every afternoon
- on Monday/Tuesday…
- in the morning / afternoon
- every year/ month/ week
- every day/ night
- once a week / month / year
These are examples of expressions that tell when an action is
done habitually.
