A Downscale Tribute to the Estes Classic


Make two prints - one on 24 lb. stock, another on 110 lb. stock MITT

The Body Wrap (24 lb) goes around a 2.81” long BT-5 tube.
The Fins are triple ply - The 110 lb. cardstock print folds at the dotted
line (score and fold) then glues over cereal box cardboard. Use a glue
stick. This fold line is the rounded leading edge of the fin. NICHT

When dry, cut through all three layers on the outside of the smaller fin MITT

side marked “Root Edge”. The right (back) side is larger to insure color
coverage when cut out.
The plastic “Quark” nose cone is closest to scale, fill it 2/3 full with clay
weight.
Give the finished model a good clear coat. Printer ink can run if it gets
