Name of the work: - Estimate for providing of Diesel for 15KVA DG Set of 220kv
Switching Station , Thimajipet for regular run and 10 minutes trail run twice in a week
from 01-08-2018 to 31-03-2019 in O&M Division, Wanaparthy .

General:-The 220kv Switching Station , Thimajipet is an important grid Sub- station and
for reliable operations and protection the Sub-Station is provided with 15 KVA Diesel
generator set in addition to 33KV/400Volts Station Transformer for station supply. The
Generator make ‘Greaves Powers Ltd.,’ was commissioned on 07.06.2017 .

The diesel generator set is required to kept ready for service in case of failure
of station supply. Hence it is proposed to run Diesel generator set minimum 20
minutes weekly (Twice in a week for 10minutes each time) to keep the Diesel
Generator set in condition and healthy checks including charging it’s battery. Trail run
of DG Set for 10 minutes/twice in a week requires about 01 liter of diesel. Hence it is
proposed to procure 8 liters of diesel every month for regular consumption to meet the
emergencies in case of failure of Station Transformer. Hence the estimate prepared
based on local market rate .

Cost of the Estimate:- The estimate covers requirement of diesel for a period from 01-
08-2018 to 31-03-2019 and prepared based on local market rates, the estimate amount
to Rs.4657-00 (Rupees Four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Seven Only) and chargeable to
O&M A/c.No.74-100 of 220/132 KV Sub-Station, Thimajipet.
