ADIDAS:-

Adidas is a multinational corporation founded and


headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany, that designs
and manufactures shoes, clothing and accessories. It’s the
largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second
largest in the world after Nike. Adidas logo is three strips,
which is used on the company’s clothing and shoe design as
a marketing aid.

Supply Chain Of Adidas:-

Adidas is the one of the leading players in the sports shoes


industry with the large market base and strong sales and
distribution network spread worldwide. It has continued to
grow its market shares through focus upon product quality
and marketing.

Uses Of Technology:-

2017 was the milestone for adidas. The German brand ability
to use new technology to innovate product and engage its
audience with savvy branding to improve its position against
Nike.

Transportation Modes Of Adidas:-


There are mainly three kinds of transportation will be used in
the adidas shoes commodity chain. First transportation mode
in air, which is the highest speed and cost. Second
transportation mode is ocean, which take longest time but
least cost. Third transportation mode in road, which has
medium speed and cost.

Pricing Strategy Of Adidas:-

Adidas adopt a premium pricing strategy in contrast to it’s


competition. This premium pricing gives consumers more
incentive to buy over it’s competition like Nike, Puma etc.
This is because the higher price tells the consumer that it’s
better quantity and has the performance technology that
Adidas is forever promoting.

As in the case Adidas, increasing sales may help to reframe


the business case for supply chain improvement that ones

have been establish; there are many other chances for
improvement.
