Planning and Implementation


Component 3.a: Plan and implement appropriate (e.g. measurable,
developmentally appropriate, performance-based) short-and long-term plan
objectives that are aligned with local, state and/or SHAPE America National
Standards and Grade-Level Outcomes for K-12 Physical Education.
Artifact: 255 Resource Project

Date: Fall 2019

Reflection: This artifact was a project I created during my basics of effective

instruction in physical education class. The project includes objectives, history,

language, a block plan, what students should know, an end of unit performance

task and an assessment. The artifact especially aligns with the objective aspect at

the beginning of the project because it is aligned to six national standards. There

are two standards for each category such as psychomotor, cognitive and affective.

There were short-term and long-term objectives throughout the project based on

performance, knowledge and attitude or values based on the different yoga lessons.

This is important to my development as a teacher because I need to know how to

write and give students short and long-term objectives in my class.
