SI-500P features

Converting digital to analogue current signals makes the stimulation softer and enhances the product
durability further. 9 auto modes and 3 manual modes are supported and cup and pad can be selectively used.

1. Computerized electromagnetic interferential stimulator

- Unlike already existing electric stimulators used to relieve pain and facilitate regenerate of injured
ligaments, muscles, tendons, and other soft-tissue, SI-500P uses computer controlled electric
pulses to stimulate cell correspondence and injured soft tissue nerves to remove acute and
chronic pain. SI-500P has especially demonstrated excellent results for chronic disk pains, low
mobility induced joint pains, and post surgery muscle regeneration

2. Automated computer controlled programs

- Nine types of fully computer controlled standard mild stimulation frequencies were programmed
into the device. Newly developed programs can be uploaded and used on the device in the future.
Simply, through the use of the treatment functions of fixed currents, pure 2,500/ 4,000/ 5,000 Hz
signals and the interferential current therapy functions of certain frequencies were programmed
into the device to allow for greater autonomy of treatment options. It is also possible to periodically
change the fixed current using sweep frequencies and sweep time

3. F/A (Fine Adjustment) function

- Unlike previous analog devices, the digital signal generating SI-500P increases intensity in units of
1mA. To accommodate this characteristic fine adjustment of signal adjustment was made possible.
At threshold limits, it is possible to fine adjust intensity in units of 0.2mA by simply pushing the
encoder button. This feature minimizes the intensity felt by the patient

4. Internal voice function

- The status of the device can easily be checked due to a melody that signals the start and finish of
treatment

5. Other functions
- SI-500P features safety functions such as the zero start function, which initially sets the treatment
intensity at zero. Excess current prevention circuits were used to prevent higher than desirable
currents from reaching the area being treated. Also a moisture prevention system was applied to
protect the suction area to enable safe treatment and protection of the device

Operational panel configuration and functions

1-INTENSITY
By turning the Encoder to the right the output intensity can be adjusted
- After making adjustments to increase the output current and no further increases occur for the
next 10 seconds, an automatic lock function kicks into prevent any further increases and only
decreases are possible. In this case, in order to increase the output current the user must first
decrease the current and then increase it
- Under normal conditions the intensity can be increased in units of 1mA. By pushing the
Encoder button fine adjustments in units of 0.2mA is possible
- Changing basic frequency (2,500Hz, 4,000Hz, 5,000Hz)

What is the ICT AUTO function?

1) AUTO1 (Peripheral diseases)
- By mitigating pain and inflammation transmitters by accelerating the process of tissue expansion
and promoting metabolic circulation and maintaining reversible and partial depolarization of vascular
smooth muscles(anti-bleeding effect), the contraction of vascular smooth muscles and afferent
contraction of the vein and lymph are facilitated to produce anti-edema effects(cellular membrane
permeation is promoted through fine vibration of cellular ions) and promote the re-absorption of
tissue fluid through capillary vessel walls. Also the depolarization of pain transmitting nerve fibers
cut off pain transmission to produce peripheral pain alleviation.

2) AUTO2 (Pain alleviation)

- Central pain alleviation is achieved through the anti-stimulation effect and discharge of endorphins
through stimulation of sensory fibers. Vasodilation is induced following initial increases in reversible
sympathetic nerve activities
- Used for pain alleviation by removing pain alleviation metabolites and transferring exudates.

3) AUTO3 (Multi function treatment)

- Used on dispersed treatment areas. This treatment option induces vasodilation by applying various
forms of stimulation to the motor nerves and tissue and promotes pump and stimulation effects on
various tissue exudates.

4) AUTO4 (External wounds)

- Peripheral sympathetic nerves are stimulated to activate sympathetic nerve receptors, which in
turn results in vasoconstriction and reduction of blood flow to damaged tissue and the reduction of
capillary vessel pressure to increase re-absorption of tissue fluid through capillary vessel walls.
- This induces contraction of the vein and increases afferent lymph transfer, which reduces external
fluids from the blood vessel. In other words tissue fluids resulting from damaged areas are
disintegrated and transferred. Appropriate fixture and pressure is required considering that shortly
following this process, vasoconstriction is reduced and vasodilatation occurs.

5) AUTO5 (Muscle atrophy)

- Excessive muscle spindle activities are prevented to help muscles recover adequate tension by
providing soft and intense constriction to muscles experiencing spasms and contracture failures.

6) AUTO6 (Chronic)
- Ion permeation to cell membranes is increased by repeating a process of exiting and relaxing
tissues to increase congestion within blood vessels that activate ion activities within cells (various
alterations).

7) AUTO7 (Promotion of circulation)

- Oxygen and antibody supply activities are promoted through vasodilation and improved circulation
by inducing fine vibrations of cellular ions. During this process, enzyme activities and cellular mitosis
increase resulting in the facilitation of healing

8) AUTO8 (Synthetic treatment – edema)

Interferential Stimulator

- This treatment is an option for patients suffering from intractable edema and patients that respond
relatively less well to electric therapy.

9) AUTO9 (Circulation diseases)

- This treatment is an option for patients suffering from long term fixation following injuries such as a
bone fracture or patients experiencing geriatric diseases.
